First paragraph of the article…………..

“You’re out holiday shopping. The stores are crowded and everything is very busy. All of a sudden, you hear gunfire and shouting in a foreign accent. People are dropping their bags and taking cover, some falling to the ground. Screaming and panic and chaos ensues. What do you do?”

Here’s my answer, short enough to leave as a comment at the linked article page above……….

The term is “Soft Targets”.

Number one: Other than schools (where I work in enhancing real-time security systems) I studiously avoid large-crowd gatherings or places that are definitely soft targets.

Number two: I am armed and will defend to my last breath, my freedom, liberty and life and those of my family and friends.

Number three: I urge everyone to always be aware of your surroundings, the people you see and observe their behavior.

If a situation arises, I will not run. I will not hide. Nor will I stand by and watch as animals attempt to destroy my country.

To those who think civilians should not even remotely be able to own weapons legally…….. I say “Molon Labe !” When your own values, as short-sighted as they are, become instantly invalidated by those who simply want to kill you because you are either American or Jewish and don’t care that you ‘want to talk things out’, I will defend you as well.
