The Blaze is off and to the races. I really like the look of this site.

It’s kind of a Huffington Post-y sort of Big Government/Daily Caller-y sort of news and blog site.

It is the first of its kind in a while, since maybe the Daily Beast, that has a site design I instantly like — good white space, good layout, easy navigation, etc.

I’m excited by its potential.

Govt “invests” YOUR tax money for POLITICAL return rather than economic return.

If I can’t speak my mind on that site then I will have no use for it.

I will give it a try once or twice more. If my comment disappears again then that’s it.
That’s what they do at the HuffPo.

I presume The Blaze site is having "growing pains"

for me at least … some of the stories wouldn’t populate (such as Oval Office decor story)

and now I get nothing but “403 errors” when trying to access it (the home page)

I assume they’re having some launch probs

Probably getting swamped today.

I perused it and thought – meh. But then, I’m a recalcitrant curmudgeon.

My fascination with Beck is waning, and I find this new site a little bit vain and whiny. Instead of continuing to lift up other sites that counter HuffPo, such as the Daily Caller and Big Gov., Beck comes out with his own?

I’m all for competition, but it would seem that perhaps the market is getting a bit flooded now. Time will tell of course whether The Blaze adds needed material or if it’s just more of the same, just from a specifically Beck-positive p.o.v.

I wish him success. I may peruse the site again, as I did late late last night to find photos of the Black Robe Regiment.

Heh… I’ve since fired off an update to a post and another surly posting.

Yes, we Christians must wake up, but let us be as wise as serpents. I see Glenn becoming a demagogue of a level that doesn’t necessarily bode well for us. The pendulum is swinging too wildly now.

Seems like Beck farmed out the operation of this site to the d-crat socialists: The site has crashed several times today, and the sign-up process doesn’t work (no e-mail confirmation with password is send out).
