I like her very much – and agree with all the “ridiculous” “far-out” things she’s saying.

And I like what she says here. Only problem is: there is no money to put into the lockbox. The “lockbox” (i.e., the trust fund) was raided years ago by the Big Spenders; it’s all gone!

She certainly has the right idea; keeping the lockbox-key out of the hands of Congress is the right thing to do. But she’s conning people with this ad, saying that’s the way to fix it now. It would be if the money was around to put back in the box – but it isn’t. We’ll have to do something else to fix the problem now. And whatever it is, it ain’t gonna be pretty.

No matter what – she’s certainly a lot better than the Hollow Reed.

Of her huge ad buys this week. In the next few weeks, she will be placing ad buys that are traditional for October- not August. She needs to to take the race back from Reid and his shadowy 527′s. However, she has been spending a ton of money on smaller ad buys in the last few months, and she needs help to keep placing these big ad buys and to let voters know who she REALLY is, not who Reid wants them to think she is. Really???

Maybe I’ve just seen a bad sample, but all of the ads I’ve seen from Sharron Angle seem pretty shallow. Basic message seems to be “I’m a nice lady” with each ad including some non-controversial policy statement that means little or nothing. Maybe that works to counter Reid’s efforts to tar her as a right-wing loony, but I think some more substance would help.

She ought to be explaining the many horrid effects of the health care bill Reid rammed through. Or what his “cap & trade” bill would do to Nevada’s economy. Or reminding people of Reid’s oft used tactic of negotiating an enormous bill behind closed doors until he buys off enough Senators to pass it, then ramming it through within hours before anyone has a chance to read it. Or his role in ramming through the many “stimulus” and “bailout” programs. Or his “the war is lost” declaration. And can’t she and Sandoval (GOP candidate running vs. Reid’s son for governor) do a press conference or something denouncing Reid’s recent comments about Hispanic Republicans?

I heard she was dissin’ the Tea Parties and then I heard she had the nerve to stand up and say it was time to privatize Social Security (as if there was any real choice in this matter – it’s either privatize it or close it up).

She has a golden opportunity to not only take down Harry Reid, but to destroy the Democratic Party on a national scale, end the race card politics game and destroy liberalism for a generation. I don’t know who’s advising her, but she makes me nervous. She’s either picking old-school insiders who are already corrupt or she has signed on with idiots. Either way, chances like this aren’t going to last forever and then what? They’ll cry and beg for more money to try again after they never listened and never stopped the ruling class games.

There has been nothing about this race that should have surprised anyone. Angle’s 50% in the initial post-primary poll was a bump that would soon fade. Harry’s onslaught of attack ads , with the help of a complicit anti-GOP media, was going to lower the poll numbers of ANYBODY – Angle, Lowden, Tarkanian, Reagan, or even Jesus C. himself.

And after spending millions and millions of dollars, what has the sitting Majority Leader been able to accomplish? A high of 48% in the polls. ROTFL

I still give Harry Reid a 20-25% chance to win, no more.

If Sharron is really imploding why then is Harry paying so much attention to her?

We have seen over the years just how much the statists regard us and the earnings they confiscate from us. They take our income, deposit in these so called accounts in order that we may draw from them when they tell us we can. As they pilfer more money from these accounts, or more accurately cash streams, they restrict, confine and diminish our ability to get back our own money which they purportedly have been saving for our benefit. We learn these same central planners have been for some time taking (they call it borrowing) these funds to pay for votes, to reward selected victim classes and general subsidize legislative and administrative incompetence and malfeasance. This is yet another program which must be drawn down to zero and the savings from running this scheme returned to the taxpayers.

Sharon has it right. Social Security is not an “entitlement” This is my money, I paid into a system unwillingly, against my better judgement under the color of law. I was promised it would be there when I retire. guess what, I am set to retire in two years and I want all my money back with interest. If harry reid or other politicians think they have problems now, steal my SS money and cheat me again and you will find out what real problems are, you scum bag pieces of crap.
For the lairs and cheats in washington to suggest that those of us who have paid into the stupid system should now do the right thing and give it to the government to pay down the debt are insane lying bastards. They have robbed the SS trust for years to pay for there pork. You guys give up your salaries, retirement packages, get ride of the real “entitlements” stop earmarks, balance the budget, stop bailing out your buddies, dump Freddie and Fanny. then if you still have a budget problem come talk to me about my SS money. Here in Nevada it is plain that Sharon has two opponants, Harry Reid and the Obamedia (LSM). They are very good at taking ½ of a sentence, use it out of contex, and make her look crazy. When you get the whole message, hardly anybody here can argue with her ideas. It is really hard for her to get the word out. Support this great leader! She is certainly what we need here!!

Harry is a “true believer” in big-government, and is spending millions on any and every issue to slime her.

He is spending millions trying to convince Nevadans that Sharron Angle is against education, and wants to fire all the teachers, because she has been critical of the Federal Department of Education. A Jimmy Carter creation.

He does the same thing on Social Security when Sharron suggests allowing future workers the ability to invest part of their retirement funds in private investments, or trying to keep the democrats from continuing to rob Social Security taxes as they always have. Now Harry spends a few more millions to accuse her of wanting to take away everyone’s social security checks. Some people actually believe this BS.

Harry will do anything and say anything to keep his power. He spends like Obama on his campaign. $25,000,000! That is unheard of in Nevada.

Sharron Angle is what everyone claims they want to run for office, a normal citizen. Sharron is Conservative. To Harry Reid this is the same as being evil.

Unfortunately, like most normal people, Sharron Angle is not a multi-millionaire like Harry Reid. Harry got rich being a Senator.

Sharron does not have the resources Harry has with a snap of his fingers. She does not have the unions, ACORNs, and the Washington lobbyists, who toss rose petals in front of Harry when he walks the halls of the Senate. She also has a hostile media that generally HATES Republicans.

I donate to Sharron’s campaign every month. I do not know her, but I know she believes in the Constitution and she will always vote to support it, unlike Harry.
