I told you Barack Obama had become a pariah among Democrats.
Back in March he went to Missouri to raise money for Senator Claire McCaskill, who is not even on the ballot this year. He ignored Robin Carnahan who is running for the Senate. In fact, Carnahan was in DC on the same day and cryptically said we’d all have to talk to the White House if we wanted to know if Carnahan and Obama would ever appear together in public.
Well, Obama is headed back to Missouri. It’s allegedly part of his “Main Street” tour to tout the need for financial deform. Odd then isn’t it that the event will be closed to the press?
So even if Carnahan shows, we won’t see them together.
Why does the President of the United States go to Macon, MO to tout a legislative proposal and not want to be seen unless he is a pariah? After all, every state wide candidate he has campaigned for since his election has lost.

Couldn’t have said it better myself.
They're all infomercials now
reverelth (Diary) Tuesday, April 27th at 11:35PM EST (link)The audiences are stacked, and, as reported by Jay Barbree and others, even exclude the employees of the industries in question in favor of piped in sycophants and bussed in academic and other devotees, all for the sake of a highly produced video clip the MSM replays obediently and reports on as directed by the regime.

Yup!
uselogic Wednesday, April 28th at 11:52AM EST (link)His little “I’m saving a few jobs by eliminating a bunch of jobs” speech down here ar Kennedy Space Center was the same way. Zero rank & file space industry workers invited. NASA gave ‘em the day off and kept them away. Only like 200 invited synchophants actually at the speech. But did any of the local stations mention that? Of course not. Luckily, someone got it on video showing the 3/4ths empty auditorium.
PS; Saw it once and have misplaced the link. Anyone happen to have a url?
So true. "Yes we can!" is the new "Set it and Forget it!"

I’m a banned Democrat who came here to promote the idea that Republicans are racists for disliking Barack Obama.
It would help the deficit if King Barry
Tbone (Diary) Tuesday, April 27th at 11:46PM EST (link)would just setup a studio in the White House with a cardboard audience to deliver his “ping pong spectator” speeches to be replayed by the MSM as though they were real.
Envisioning when all that is Left is the Right.
Why hide?
jsanzone (Diary) Wednesday, April 28th at 12:01AM EST (link)Sure, the polished media clips of ‘middle America’ waxing enthusiasm over financial reform, or whatever reform is on the plate…but maybe he’s just in “recharge” mode. Maybe they’re trying to rebuild and reinforce the Obama ‘brand’ and still think they can use him later on in the election cycle.
At least, they have to keep that hope–with him they’ve got a laundry list of problems, but without him they’ve got absolutely nothing.

A song, for Barry
Adjoran (Diary) Wednesday, April 28th at 2:30AM EST (link)It would be really sweet if I could get Harry Belafonte to sing it:
Pariah
Pariah
They call Barack Pariah
Away out here they got a name
For leftist slime and liars,
The slime’s Nancy, the liar Reid,
And they call Barack Pariah
Pariah blows the smoke around
And sends the clouds a’flyin’
Pariah makes the Congress sound
Like folks were up there dying
Pariah
Pariah
They call Barack Pariah
Before I knew Pariah’s name
And heard his wail and whinin’
I had a country proud and free
And the sun was always shinin’
Pariah
Pariah
They call Barack Pariah
I Love it. Get someone
davesinsanantonio (Diary) Wednesday, April 28th at 5:33AM EST (link)with a nice baritone to sing it, then make it into a video. I will go platinum!
Love it. Jealous that I didn't come up with it

doubly sweet
MF (Diary) Wednesday, April 28th at 1:38PM EST (link)It would be doubly sweet if Belafonte sang it, because as I recall, he’s a far-left liberal. Way out there. I could be thinking of someone else, but I don’t think so.
Send it to Rush!
Melody Warbington (rwm52) (Diary) Wednesday, April 28th at 3:35PM EST (link)Could be his next parody and you’ll get the credit.

Somehow this does not sound like America, at least the America I grew up in. It does sound like the America that Obama has tried to force upon us and I believe it sounds like the former USSR. Even the libtards should realize someday that if they go along with this, one day they will wake up and be facing Mecca several times a day on their knees with no say.
I think you give liberals too much credit
BA Cyclone (Diary) Wednesday, April 28th at 9:27AM EST (link)It seems to me that an uncomfortable number of liberals (uncomfortable for me) would find no problem paying homage to D.C. as long as “their guy” is in the Big White House.
They already worship government anyway it seems, so the stretch for them might be less than you expect.

Mixed messages
dwscho Wednesday, April 28th at 9:01AM EST (link)Obama sends many mixed messages but, two always come to mind when he’s jetting around the country/world. The first is it costs a lot of money to fly Air Force 1 to get him and his entourage to each location. This says nothinng about the high security costs foisted on local taxpayers to provide additional security while he’s in town. All this while he’s talking about finding ways to reduce the deficit.
The second mixed message is also connected to the use of Air Force 1. As a champion of global warming and reducing the negative impact of man on our environment, I always find it ironic that he doesn’t hessitate to take Air Force 1 out for a spin. Imagine the amount of pollution he dumps in our atmosphere everytime he goes to some political event or, takes Michelle on a date.
If one didn’t know better, he/she would think reducing expenses and man’s negative impact on the environment don’t apply to Obama. I wonder if that’s what he thinks?
please rethink
MF (Diary) Wednesday, April 28th at 1:46PM EST (link)I appreciate your sentiments in the message you’ve posted, but please learn more about global warming, or more appropriately, the fraud that it is. Yes, it’s good to reduce the negative impact of man on our environment (your words), but global warming isn’t happening, and human-caused climate change (the new expression since the experts are discovering that there is no global warming) doesn’t exist. Our actions have virtually no impact on overall global temperature. God’s design is completely self-balancing. To think otherwise is a very arrogant position to take.
End of my comment on global warming here, not intended as a threadjack.
You don't get it; little o doesn't need to reduce his carbon
renny (Diary) Wednesday, April 28th at 9:55AM EST (link)footprint, you need to reduce yours, with his foot on your neck.
But, as everyone he has campaigned for has tanked, we should be glad overall that he’s out campaigning. You can’t get too much of bad luck like that, even if you were chained to a craps table in Vegas.
Drip, drip, drip
Banjo Wednesday, April 28th at 10:15AM EST (link)If you can believe Politico — and roughly half the time it’s possible — even the formerly rapt press is beginning to wondering if the Black Jesus has feet of clay. You know they had to eat yards and yards of you know what for this to happen. So who is still in his corner? The doomed Harry Reid, the lady on the broom from out west, various old party hacks who are looking at retirement and, yes, the MSM still. Their capacity for groveling is limitless when a Democrat is in the White House.
Love the poem!

How much longer can The One's ego take this?
indyjohn Wednesday, April 28th at 10:44AM EST (link)He has become accustomed to public adoration (admittedly from a snivelling, selfish subgroup of the electorate), but now he must choose his audiences carefully in order to avoid public embarrassment. At some point, even the Narcissist-in-Chief will not be able to avoid the crushing reality that he is loathed by all but the country’s most gullible, ignorant, and ideologically hidebound sheeple. When will the crack-up come? What form will it take? I shudder to think of the possibilites.
But what is liberty without wisdom, and without virtue? It is the greatest of all possible evils; for it is folly, vice, and madness, without tuition or restraint.

not really
passerby825 Wednesday, April 28th at 2:45PM EST (link)This is a strong anti-incumbent year. Everyone in Washington has dismal approval ratings, so it would make sense that he would want to distance himself from Washington, especially since Obama doesen’t really have strong approval ratings. I would not say, though, that Obama has become a Pariah, especially considering that if you compare his numbers to practically any other elected official, his approval ratings are sky high.
