Don’t screw with us. Why do you think we call it “Google Analytics” and make it available for free, or next to nothing for websites to use – especially forums ?

Comerica Bank was ahead of it's time in Detroit

In the ~early 90s, Comerica Bank proposed to tear down Cobo Hall^* so that it could build a high-rise headquarters on the riverfront in downtown Detroit.

The proposal received such push back that it never went through, including a parody of Grand Funk Railroad’s “American Band” by The Dick The Bruiser Band.

^*Cobo Hall also happens to be the basketball arena where mayor Dave Bing starred for the Pistons in the late 60s, early 70s. (Before the Pistons moved to the Silverdome in Pontiac, which was before they moved to The Palace in Auburn Hills.)
