Why Do Bob Corker and Chris Dodd Want to Give the Federal Reserve MORE Power?

This is crazy.

I realize Bob Corker wants to engage in these across the aisle compromises to get things accomplished, but at a time when most Americans want to audit the Federal Reserve, it is more than a bit silly to expand their powers by giving them control over consumer products.

Senator Corker has said he’s willing to be the only Republican to get on board with this financial reform package — a package that ignores Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae — all in the name of getting something done.

But the compromises he seems to be making are agitating for more government, not less, and greater union power, not less.

Senator Corker, this is bad stuff. Cut it out.

I get my haircut for $11 from a guy named Carl the Barber in St. Petersburg, Florida where I grew up. And to me that’s real fiscal conservatism.

So he flies/drives like 300 miles for an $11 haircut.

I wonder what it costs for the gubernatorial entourage to perform this miracle of fiscal conservatism?

I am so sick of these elitist political hacks who take us for rubes. BTW, Charlie, you’re barber is just taking you’re money….

Oops

Sometimes it’s not all it’s cracked up to be to have two senators with a (R) behind their name… Especially when they act like democrats half the time. I call Lamar! schizophrenic, and Corker just crazy. I guess someone forgot to send Corker the memo that the GOP was NOT reaching across the aisle anymore. Sigh. Another call to make in the morning. I about have Corker and Alexander’s Washington office phone numbers on speed dial.

No!!!11!1!!1!1! The Bilderbergers are coming
