Maybe it would be better than O, at least Joe could copy the good ideas of some people who actually have good ideas. Pelosi only becomes Pres if she can get rid of O and Joe. Maybe not impossible but very tough. Maybe she would resolve the national problem of Bad Hair Days.

And where in God’s good earth does one get “skilled diplomat” from the nonexistent experience of the Dolt-in-Chief.

His numbers among Democrats are still sky high. They like him. No one could beat him in the primaries, or even get the money to try.

He’s counting on the economy coming back by 2012, but I don’t see how it can.

In the end, he’s going to get walloped. But there’s a ton of damage he can do as a lame duck who doesn’t give a cluck.

Here in the Telegraph a piece which frankly acknowledges what this is really about::

Except in the United States, where it became a very contentious talking point, the US still holding firmly to the 18th-century idea that power should lie with the will of the people.”

Daley intimates – and I do not mean this in a condescending let alone welcoming sense – that it’s up to the U.S. with its antiquated notions of representative democracy to save Europe from itself. For sure, the mandarins of the “developing world” which apparently includes China (or defined otherwise, any country other than in the wicked West) are only interested in using this as a vehicle toward economic advantage beyond what the U.S. and Europe are already self-flagellating giving away.

What is convieniently avoided is any discussion of what the consequences would be following the global economic redistribution, and with it military collapse. After the polar bears are saved, “science” – i.e., “social science” can go about destroying the liberties and individual accomplishments that untold millions have died to achieve over the last several hundred years. The countries which “cheated” can prey on and subjigate the innocents who made the sacrifice. The world will have a hugely more equalized standard of living, which is to say, about on par with Africa.

Orwell had it pegged all along.

I absolutely don’t believe it is us who have them over a barrel. It’s us instead. We are the ones about to lose our credit rating, not them.

We must keep an eye on both of their hands. They are very adept at making people watch one while the other takes more of our freedoms. We need a czar check up. While everyone is focusing on healthcare (and I know it’s viital that we do) what else is going on?
