All I want for Christmas. Hell, it's all I've wanted for Christmas for the last ten Christmases in a row. Ain't gonna happen though. But still, if ever I make big money, this sucker is mine. And no, I will not let the kids sit in it.

Ezra Klein accuses Joe Lieberman of supporting a health care holocaust in this country letting hundreds of thousands of people die. At least he did, but after several people mentioned it on twitter, he toned his post down. Still pretty flamboyant of a statement.

The only thing that Palin & KBH have in common
izoneguy (Diary) Monday, December 14th at 12:14PM EST (link)is that they are both female.
Of course Palin has & will endorse Rick Perry.
I don’t know if we really need her for the primary?
I would rather she expend energies where she is really needed.
The point cannot be made often enough: Modern liberalism, as embodied in the Obama presidency, is the defender of the status quo. And the status quo is a road to economic ruin. Political forces cannot redistribute the wealth that the economic system does not produce.
Have you noticed the veiled use of Dick Cheney in her ad?
Richard Mullins (Diary) Monday, December 14th at 12:24PM EST (link)It seems like a way to get an endorsement. Some of KBH’s ad doesn’t really show her as a Big Conservative, but rather a person doing the business of the state in the Senate. To use a quote from Rick Perry himself on the matter of a State income tax(never mind that the idiot Gene Maxey tried in vain to make it happen) is in itself an attempt to make Rick Perry give an endorsement of her campaign.

I read the Robert Stacy McCain article about Palin
Scope (Diary) Monday, December 14th at 12:23PM EST (link)and he updated it with the fact that Palin already endorsed Perry in February. McCain has a problem with it because Dick Armey has endorsed Hutchison, and, with Palin endorsing Perry it ruins the conservative unity that existed in NY 23. I guess he thinks that Palin or Armey should be in consultation before they endorse anyone which is ludicrous.
Erick, did you send your letter to the North Pole asking for the Buster chair? It really is beautiful.
Do you really think you will not let the kids sit in it?

that buster chair
Veronica (Diary) Monday, December 14th at 12:31PM EST (link)hey, erick,
been looking at that chair, too .. for some 10 years now.
It’s gone up by about 700 bucks.
WHen I can afford it in about 10 more years, it’ll probably be $3K, and yes, I would still buy it.

joayn (Diary) Monday, December 14th at 8:48PM EST (link)are on clearance at $1949.99 – $2379.99?
There is a similar chair at Casco Bay Furniture, and they have a limited time offer to upgrade the leather (mmm-mmm-mmm, Brompton for Coach/English price). It’s $1798 – $1898. It’s called the Boston chair. The picture is not so great – but it looks almost identical. Plus, you can get free swatches for your designing pleasure.
It has eight-way hand tied spring suspension as opposed to the sinuous spring system in the Buster chair, plus removable down cushions (the best – seats “crown” slightly, don’t sink after wear). The five year warranty is $149, which is excellant. The company is also located in North Carolina, and delivery is included in the price ( no middleman). They state that they are not required to collect sales tax in most states.
http://cascobayfurniture.com/p12/Why%20buy%20from%20Casco%20Bay%3F/pages.html
Delivery for the R.H. chair is 10% + $25.00 = $3099.50!
I used to be a personal shopper for Macy’s years ago so I always check out certain websites for the best prices. Can’t help it. Plus, as my family says, I’m extremely “thrifty”.
America is an idea; a noble idea that essentially boils down to the shocking belief that the masses are in fact not asses. John Nolte
