If you draw your weapon in self defense and do not fire and there is any “conflict” in the police reports you can be prosecuted on a 3rd degree felony. The rub is that the charge carries a MANDATORY MINIMUM sentence of 3 years and is up to a 6 person jury. Now do you risk 3 years in a Florida prison away from family,loss of job,income, home, family ,etc. OR do you cop a guilty plea, get probation, and lose your gun rights,voting rights ,etc. This law needs to be amended or put on a state referendum. Florida is on a financial path to follow California, and our personal freedoms are under attack, even with an apparent “Republican” majority state government. Constant Vigilence.

I have to say the tax collectors office are always the most helpful, patient, kindest going out of their way to assist you customer service reps I’ve ever dealt with. No matter who I get they are always helpful. For example the last time I renewed we went downtown to do it and my son was reading the historical info on some of the decorations in the building and a lady just coming back from her lunch asked if we needed help. When dealing with them they do not rush you, they verify everything, they are very well trained and professional and helpful.

As it is, this is a train from nowhere to nowhere, just another monumental testament to the egos of politicians.
Even with proper connections, one must wonder how much incentive there is for travelers to get to the rail head at one end and from the other terminal, all to avoid a one hour trip by road.

That special facor prevents Medicare Advantage cuts to these counties The rest of us, in Florida, will just have to suffer the cuts and do with less healthcare benefits than those in South Florida.
He said he dislikes Medicare Advantage and then goes behind our backs and gets a special deal for those who do in his rich base of voters in South Florida.
He is doing nothing more than trying to win votes with the wealthier and larger population in South Florida.
Isn’t it amazing that he is our State Senator and yet he only represents half the State? From Central Florida up to North Florida and into the Panhandle – we evidently do not have any representation in Washington.
He’s shown his true colors – and they aren’t red, white and blue. If you are from Florida ask this disgraceful farce to resign!!!!!!!!!!.
