Obama’s Job Summit Flops

Chis Chocola has the top story at Human Events today.

It was a foregone conclusion that the nation ignored the White House’s “Jobs Summit” last Thursday.  Even the presidents’ allies acknowledged the afternoon confab of friendly CEOs, labor bosses, and economists was a publicity stunt.  And so it was.

But if you watched cable news at all that day, you probably saw live interviews of administration officials repeating a new and not unwelcome talking point from the Obama White House.  Both the vice president and president made the point in their opening remarks.

It is an alien world to the liberal [statist]. Whether a business, commerce in general, groups of people or the individual, liberals see only things to be manipulated, controlled.
They can’t be aware that they’re ignorant, the thought could never enter their minds, their perverse natures are driven to domination and aggression. There’s nothing they think they can’t manage, but there’s little they can. Total self delusion.

Ron Bloom

Obama picked an Ivy-league union bureaucrat to advise him about manufacturing. How does any sane person match Ron Bloom’s experience with a job requiring knowledge about manufacturing?

Do even the Dems think that they can create and sustain more blue-collar union jobs? I’m not sure how this administration could be more of a joke when it comes to job creation.
