How every now and then some leftie will actually turn off the filter and say what is in his heart. It is always the exact opposite of their public position. The great people who volunteer in the military may not agree with anything that would go on, but will discharge their duty to the best of their ability. Political correctness came to the Academy years ago and some of the fine, brave cadets you saw tonight may not be in Chris Matthews’ fearsome “enemy camp” at all.

Perhaps this C-in-C, with his indecision and appeasement strategies, will awaken a new camp. Won’t that put Mr. Matthews’ tighties in a bunch?

He is a living, breathing example of The Establishment Left media and their pandering to Barack. It is good to have a classic example to cite, especially a willing one.

I’ve listened to a lot presidents, generals, and entertainers in Ike Hall, Michie Stadium and the smaller venues like Thayer Hall. Richard Nixon on television resigning. Gerry Ford addressing a graduation. Bob Hope. Red Skelton. Then-Supreme Allied Commander, Europe, Gen. Al Haig. (Thankfully, Carter never came.) Bishop Fulton Sheen. Cadets didn’t fall asleep or stay subdued for any of the aforementioned. They wanted to hear what the guests had to say.

Did you see the faces of the cadets? They did me proud. Did you see the unemotional, bland faces? Did you see the polite, tepid clapping? Did you see the laughter at the end up in the balcony? Did you see the cadets nodding off near the end of the speech when Teleprompter Boy continued to drone on, and on, and on?

Did you see the general nodding off? Did you see Hitlery fighting to stay awake?

What a complete empty suit this clown, who has never accomplished a thing but self-promotion on what must be assumed to be an affirmative-action fueled trajectory (he’s not released any of his grades or college and law school applications), appeared to be. To think that he would lecture these budding combat leaders, and us, on American accomplishments and virtues, when he has accomplished nothing but the fruits of self-promotion and has no virtues, is appalling. Of course the cadets had to suck it up and say nothing. But I hoped that, perhaps, some brave soul would have figured out a way to screw things up for Teleprompter Boy. For example, setting alarm clocks to go off under the seats. Or to somehow kill the lights. Or “accidentally” pull a fire alarm.

Well, those kinds of things might be in the future.

Was it just me, or did Teleprompter Child look like a complete dweeb tonight trying desperately to appear to be a “Commander-in-Chief” but instead looking like an apologetic loser who was unable to, because TOTUS would not allow it, say either “victory” or “win” in his drone? This girlie-man is pathetic.

Referring to West Point, and by extension the soldiers who are in training there, as “The Enemy Camp” for Barack Obama is stunning. What kind of imbecile would refer to these young soldiers as the enemy of their Commander in Chief?

West Point is a bastion of patriotic citizen soldiers. The Point has represented all that is Good & Right about America for 200 years. These Brave young men & women are the “Best of the Best,” who have pledged to defend this country against all enemies, foreign & domestic.
To a leftist like Matthews, Obama, who represents the polar opposite of the Point, was indeed entering the “enemy camp.”

We must remember this debacle in 2010 when we vote to reverse the mistake of the 2006 election then in 2012 to eliminate this mistake of 2008 election. When Barak 0bama waits 9 months then reaches back to 2001 to deliver a George Bush speech, what are we supposed to think? Then as he reads on and puts cadets to sleep, he gets tough by telling them he is sending 30,000 of their comrades to Afghanistan to leave in 18 months. So much for commander-in-chief. How in 18 months will the deaths in the
intervening time be regarded? Necessary? Regrettable? Another vapid speech
from a guy who just does not get it.
The United States is in a war not of our choosing in regards to timing or adversary. Our self professed adversaries chose the time and circumstances. We expect our leadership to be leaders and not calculating politicians at our expense. Barak must learn the word victory. As time goes on and 0bama is forced to make his own decisions, he can longer blame Bush or continue the lame obfuscation and misdirection which worked so well during the campaign. Indeed, his hasty actions in the months after
January 20th have established this economy as his alone. It is sad that a man who came to office with no identity of his own has to resort to the ideas of a man he vilified.

I’ve heard from many conservatives that Chris matthews is considered a liberal, but that’s not the perception of most on the left.

CM can occasionally show some insight (by tv news standards) but for every “thrill up his leg” comment, there’s a swooning over W’s codpiece and swagger in his flight suit, or a comment about Romney’s handsome chin. His man-crushes are as much comedy material for the left, we just laugh at all of them. (where the right remembers only the “thrill” comment, and forgets the rest).

This, I’m sorry to tell the right wing of America, is not an example of “a lefty saying what they really think”. It’s Chris Matthews perpetuating a worn-out corporate conservative media theme, that liberals don’t like the military.

that any self respecting cadet or midshipman at any service academy in the U.S. would give a polite reception to their “elected” commander in chief. But it would be what the Europeans call “correct” — and only that. Enemy country? They’d be thinking HE’S the enemy.

West Point is a place where the best our country has to offer go’s to learn how to best protect our country. The fact that this MSNBC fat ass who has the biggest man crush on Obama said West Point is the “ENEMY CAMP” supports that MSNBC is the most unAmerican news outlet on TV. So if our great military is the enemy what is Bin Laden, Matthews hero? This is what you get from a leftover speech writer for Former President Carter. Now we know what MSNBC and NBC thinks about our military and this country. The American People are the enemy. This all just makes clear that Obama and his followers are enemies of the Constitution.
