That’s west, you can go about nine miles east. If you’re going further you need to be a very good swimmer or get a boat or a plane. The nearest connection to the Canadian and US road system is at Haines or Skagway, six or seven hours by ferry. It is 909 air miles to Seattle, about two and a half hours by B737.. It is 571 to Anchorage, an hour and twenty by B737, another hour on to Fairbanks or an hour and change out to Nome or Kotzebue on the Western and Northwest Arctic Coasts and fom Fairbanks to Barrow is another hour and a half or so and that’s as far north as you can get in the US. Nobody here even thiinks of distances in miles. Ask somebody in Bethel how far it is to St. Mary’s and they’ll answer 40 minutes in a 207 (Cessna 207, a common light aircraft in the Bush).

and it’s almost as far from Dallas to Texarcana on the Arkansas boarder…cause your traveling south and east catty corner from the northeast corner of east Texas to Dallas Ft Worth which is in north central Texas

so driving from Texarkana is all that is close to that there but not over. . I should say I love driving from San Antonio to Austin because a part of it south of San Marcos has an unwritten speed limit of 100 MPH(very normal there). What would take 1 1/2 hours only toke about 1,20 minutes.

The biggest problem juding by last yrs election is that the stupid RNC is listening. Get with the program RNC, the left is not your buddy. The left is not your friend. The left is the ENEMY and they have NO BUSINESS telling us on the right what we should and shouldn’t do. Here’s hoping that all the RINO’s, DIABLOS, and Blue Dogs get booted out and all the DEM seats go to rock ribbed comservatives in 2010. That’s a start. No more McCain’s, Bush’s, Crist’s, or anymore Dem Lite candidates.

It is a shame he felt the need to do this, especially from company email.

Honestly, he’s not a bad guy. I spent the first few minutes telling him that he was a fool for using his business email address to send hate mail, but by the end of the hour, I think he may have realized that we aren’t complete redneck a**holes and he even had to admit that I relayed my opinions in a way that gave him perspective on conservatives that he hadn’t had before (not that any of it changed his mind).

Dont be too tough on him, he’s not that unreasonable, just misguided and probably surrounded by propoganda being from new york.

And for ANYONE who doubts my conservative credentials, don’t.

It was honestly a very normal and healthy debate. I think he just sent the email out of anger.
