Zelda/Metroid, I know not politics but the site is flying now...
DONTREADONME (Diary) Monday, November 9th at 12:02AM EST (link)I have been a huge fan of the Zelda/Metroid franchises since 1986. Last one was awesome, worth the purchase of a Wii to play. However, the super mario galaxy was a blast to play. My future children are going to love me, I always have either a PS and a Nintendo product, I do not play anything X-box; I can’t stand the controller/cost and gamelines.
Metroid IS second to Zelda to me.
gekster (Diary) Monday, November 9th at 12:08AM EST (link)Same platform, but in an electronic age of things,
where Zelda is kinda midevil, Metroid is futureistic.
Almost as great.
And Nintendo@ is geared for kids, not like X-Box

Metroid and Zelda are good, but
Xasteius (Diary) Monday, November 9th at 12:16AM EST (link)I’m more of an RTS and RPG person.
I’ve actually started exploring some of the RPGs for PS: Kingdom Hearts, Front Mission, Odin Sphere.

KH's games were very imaginative...
DONTREADONME (Diary) Monday, November 9th at 12:24AM EST (link)Kingdom Hearts was a great genre that they need to continue. KH2 left a lot of unanswered questions; however, its great to interact with the world they created.
FF12 was the last RPG I played, I was quite impressed with the engine that allowed real time battling and gambits; however, the story was just cut off. I think they went a little nuts on the storyline that the game outgrowed its capacity; therefore, they chopped the story and took us to the end to quickly.
I am big fan of the third person action/adventure genres, which Zelda is far and away the best. I would recommend a try at Ghostbusters for the PS3 or Wii and Batman Arkham Asylum did not disappoint. Nothing like strapping a unlicensed particle accelerator to your back and blaze a trail of destruction with , Peter, Ray, Egon, and Winston; you also get to deal with the chick that answers the phone and Peck. Good stuff, a few glitches but true to the story.
kowalski, and they say conservatives aren't down wit it...
DONTREADONME (Diary) Monday, November 9th at 12:29AM EST (link)I mean seriously, here we are talking video games. Come on, I am cooler now than at anytime in my life. Ya-know why is because I don’t give a flying unowatt about pop culture. I rebel against the popular sentiments, always. Being a Democrat is like having a tatoo now-a-days; how is it rebelious if everyone has one.
Rebel, be conservative or a captilist. Rebel against conformance, conservatives are not conformers but innovators, remember that. Well look at me on my soapbox.

same...
DONTREADONME (Diary) Sunday, November 8th at 11:58PM EST (link)big fan of select RPGs. Those that my wife enjoys i.e. FFX, FFXII etc. Zelda was my first game other than SMB. It was a breakthrough, the adventure games for the Atari were Raiders of the Lost Ark and ET (which were both awful). Zelda has done a really good job of keeping the story interesting. BTW, did you know that in Japan they released a super mario bro’s 2 not the one the Americans got, you remember throwing radishes?
Mario & RPGS
Jake W (Diary) Monday, November 9th at 12:06AM EST (link)I’m a Final Fantasy fan myself, too. FF6 is my favorite of the bunch, though I have yet (shock!) to play 7. I’m a fan of a lot that Square Enix puts out. I also like Namco’s Tales series. Super Mario World was the first game I played. I go the Mario All Stars + Mario World cartridge with the SNES, so I’ve played the original MB 2 and the one that was released in America.

No concern. All anyone has to do is google my nick. I’ve used it exclusively for years on just about every forum/group I’ve joined. The “_” makes it a fairly unique nick.
I no longer wish to have an account with the forum. No muss, no fuss, no issues, no angst.

I could probably explain why we don't have flying cars...
Moe Lane (Diary) Saturday, November 7th at 3:48PM EST (link)…more accurately, I could probably repeat my wife’s explanation of why we don’t have flying cars.
But, dammit, I want a flying car. And I bet that so does Avery Brooks.

Moe and Neil, there is nice Car/plane available for purchase. I don’t remember the website, but I know that it’s not cheap to buy.

They're worse on the water and that's still only two dimensional.
Achance (Diary) Saturday, November 7th at 6:16PM EST (link)Absolutely the most dangerous thing you can do with a boat on a pretty, summer, holiday weekend is actually know and follow the rules of the road; you’ll be the only person driving that way! I just assume they’re clueless and rely on a big boat, a loud horn, and a quick finger. A quip about their ancestry and sexual proclivities on the VHF or the hailer helps sometimes too. Or, at least it makes me feel better; most of them are in the no brain, no pain category so insults elude them.

Very strong bifocals and lack of depth perception ruled flying out
Achance (Diary) Saturday, November 7th at 7:18PM EST (link)25 years ago or so. I went to ground school and actually spent a lot of “unofficial” time flying back in my days in Rural Alaska. The kid pilot with a bad hangover is always happy to have somebody he, or she, knows take over for awhile so they can catch a nap or suck oxygen. Anyway, that depth perception stuff is absolutely essential for landing and I scared myself one time too many and gave it up. I’ll stick to boats, have a 100 ton Master’s licence and if I really wanted more could work my way up the hawse pipe but it doesn’t seem with it.

Well you won't worry about LSA aircraft
Richard Mullins (Diary) Saturday, November 7th at 7:34PM EST (link)because you only a driver’s license and no medical necessary. My dad has tri-folcals(strange and only got glasses 16 years ago). I fell much better if the prescription that I have for my single focal glasses. I’m happy that it hasn’t really changed much for 14 years.
