for Corzine they could have counted the votes by now. Wonder if Corzine had to get "Crips" ink to get them to "campaign" for him GOTV effort. Maybe on his butt?

NJ aside, even one Dem win puts a damper on out ability to claim a national referendum. If we sweep, Blue Dogs buckle. Otherwise, Dems will isolate each individual race. CC is no staunch conservative, but he is good for NJ and we need to send a message.

Corzine at 60%. Really. Frak.

I went to vote at about 9:30 AM and I walked right in..I live in a county that went for McCain last election. When I left I was exit polled and of course I told the exact truth to every question NOT! LOL

But we picked up a net 1 on the city council.

I also took the first step of making myself a part of the process. I'll let ya'll know what happens when I find out the vote tally...

I went to vote at around 2pm, and, in a very heavily Republican area there were just a few less people than there was on election day 2008. In an odd year election that speaks well for the Republicans.

I had called the local Republican Chairman more than a week ago to voulnteer to work at whatever polling sight that needed help. He didn't seem to know what I was talking about. After explaining, he said that I should go to my polling location, and, that I was needed to hand out sample ballots, and literature for the Republicans. He said that there would be someone there to give me the materials, and to give me instructions. After voting I was directed to the woman in charge of the polling place. She looked at me like I had 16 eyes, and, said that she had no idea what I was asked to do. She sent me along my way. Maybe because I had my McDonnell sticker stuck on my shirt from yesterday's rally? New law in VA this year, you can wear campaign paraphanelia to the polling place this year.

I love your efforts ColdWarrior, but, this is exactly why I have not even tried to get involved in my local Republican party. The people at the polling place have been the very same people that have been there every election for years. Only difference each election is that they have just a few more wrinkles, and are a little shorter. They want no outsiders, or newbies. The Republican party head runs it out of his house, there is no website, and there is virtually no advertising in the weekly local newspaper, not even to celebrate wins. The Republican womens club meets weekdays at a clubhouse in a development where many of them live, which is about 18 miles from town. Talk about hopeless.

Keep the celebrating and gloating in check until the results are in.

Then, God willing, there will be celebrating and gloating!!!
