with the very foundation of our country being threatened there would be better things for the NRSC to do.

But then, you'd be wrong.

We had a few elected Republicans who are true conservatives show up. They were invited to speak. When they talked about getting rid of liberals in the Republican party the crowd went wild.

Michael Steele needs to be replaced and pronto. We need someone who is not afraid to take out the trash and give the halls of the GOP a vigorous cleaning. Stuff like what we've witnessed this week is what will kill us with the voters. There's enough corruption and arrogance on the Left to turn their stomachs, we don't need to be giving them additional reasons for nausea.

We don't just need good people to run for office, we need to get rid of the fat and happy idiots who are only too happy to corrupt the process on our side as well.

Zombie politicians are preferable to this garbage. On the bright side, we can be assured out brains will be safe as this bunch has made it clear they have no use for them. None.

And the best part is, they won't be able to vote, period.

I have been following what has been going on with Crist as well as this mess out in California, and I cannot find the words to describe my disgust.

I just hope Hoffman wins in NY next week, as I can't think of a better way to drive the message through those thick heads roaming the halls of the RNC.

I had thought that Gov. Palin's foot in Newt's groin would have gotten their attention, but that didn't really happen until today.

We have to put enough people in the House next November to stop Obama, and sending reach-across RINOs up there isn't going to get it done.

Should we fail, well, I don't even want to think about the hole we will be in as a nation come November of 2012.

with the GOP establishment moving so far away from conservatism. The most frequent responses I get from Tea Partiers in my area:
1>Throw the bums out.
2>Can't defend people who are not true to what they say or do. You can't trust them to do the right thing. One of my friends remarked "They are as straight as pretzels".
3>Party organization seems to be shooing away conservatives and promoting squishes. It has become a club.

You see the effect in Hoffman in NY.

I hope NRSC will get back to senses.

"...and just start over from fresh scratch with dead people..."

Could it be any worse than what we've got now? And on the bright side, they won't be needing those golden health care plans, Social Security and pensions. Can't see 'em getting all worked up about passing a health reform bill either. Win, win, win!

I would love to see a 100% turnover in the House next November, and just start over from dead scratch with fresh people - people who aren't beholden to anyone other than those who sent them there.

Yeah, I know it won't happen, but still.

This was in response to a H/A post about the NRCC pulling out of the Hoffman race.

It does not matter whether it was a “cosmetic concession” or not. It was still an admission by the National GOP that they got the message that the base is not willing to accept the “reverse incrementalism” that has been taking place in the Republican party.

Whereas the Demcorats are able to move the electorate to the left in tiny increments over a long period of time, the GOP seems to be following right along by abandoning their principles.

If the National GOP allows this to continue them it will get what it deserves. Defeat after defeat.

There is always a time to draw a line in the sand and as Rush Limbaugh said last week, “It has begun.” ( http://voterubio2010.blogspot.com/2009/10/rush-limbaugh-it-has-begun.html )

I would rather lose near term elections (2010) by voting on principle than allow another RINO to go Washington and make a fool of him/herself.

they are pathetically inept in everything they do. They just don't understand the computer skillz of the bulk of the base and how their STUPID DOG TRICKS are caught immediately. What they are doing is DESTROYING their party apparatus by showing they CANNOT be trusted with the inner workings of the Republican Party. Let me remind them of what the Republican was and could be again...

"A political party cannot be all things to all people. It must represent certain fundamental beliefs which must not be compromised to political expediency, or simply to swell its numbers.

I do not believe I have proposed anything that is contrary to what has been considered Republican principle. It is at the same time the very basis of conservatism. It is time to reassert that principle and raise it to full view. And if there are those who cannot subscribe to these principles, then let them go their way.

from one of the best Conservatives the Republican Party EVER HAD....Ronald Reagan.

These guys better get a clue, quickly. The Tea Party folks are done with protest and are now putting their money and their votes where there mouths ands signs are. The time is over when the NRCC and NRSC can shove any craptastic candidate they want to down our throats.
