Shep Smith’s statement about “balance” may be almost what Anita Dunn was trying to create. She really wanted it to be more like, “We were going to present an interview with Chris Christy, but because we can’t get one with Jon Corzine, in fairness we will show neither.”

Or, maybe he was being sarcastic. I couldn’t find the video.

The Sports outlets (including ESPN) and all the MSM were OBSESSED with the angle of DUNGY - THE FIRST BLACK HEAD COACH winning --- MSM stories here Not that he was just another GREAT Head Coach, but that HE IS BLACK as the MAIN THEME! PATHETIC.... And demonstrative of exactly what Rush's quote pointed out.

Like you, I’m cognizant of the rules, too. I’ll leave it at this— given how much we think of Dick Cheney, this is a stupendous sort of disappointment. If he is personal friends with KBH, then maybe I could understand some financial support, but not campaigning for her in public given her positions on so much that are not conservative or consistent.

Did Rick Perry do something to tick off Dick Cheney or Dubya?

I have never understood how Shep got or keeps his job. He reminds me of a used-car salesman – all bottled-tan, wavy hair, and teeth. His voice sounds like a plate of beans making it’s way out of a cow’s backside, and he stumbles, mumbles, and mis-speaks more than my three year-old.

He’s only slightly less-annoying than the potato-headed, serial-interrupter, Neil “It’s about me” Cavuto.

My favorite part of the AG race has been watching “what’s his name” try to beat home that he’s a centrist while Cuccinelli has been unapologetically conservative.

Two weeks until we sweep back into control of both houses, and every state level office. I hope we can get a similar House sweep in 2010.
