I'll do the research and give to the candidates directly, but I just can't give a back door subsidy to a candidate I don't agree with. I don't give to the United Way for the same reason. They tell you that you can direct your contribution to the agency of your choice, but all that does is free up more pooled money to go to organizations to which you don't want to contribute. give to Party organizations again.
