I just called Congresswoman Suzanne Kosmas' (FL-24) office. The staff member who took my call was unaware the President was attacking anyone and was unaware of any call for a boycott of Fox News. He said he would find out and get back to me. (Sure, when pigs fly!)

Lobbying Blue Dogs seems like an exercise in uselessness. All it takes is a campaign donation from Pelosi or Reid, and they'll change their tune to whatever she wants.

Seriously folks, the Chamber of Commerce has been instrumental in undermining all our efforts to secure our borders and ports, and to enforce our immigration laws. I'm not certain what 'conservative' interest would be served (please save your lame assertion that the COC is vital to our economic interests, they are not.) by defending them from the Obama machinations?

Arguably, putting 'business interests' before those of our nations citizens, workers, consumers and taxpayers is what got us into this jam. I'm all for free enterprise and competition, but your wrong if you suggest that the COC is interested in anything other than it's own organizational interests or corporate self service. Like most citizens, I support business organizations when their interests coincide with those of the American citizen, however, the COC's historic "cheap labor" agenda, and the millions the organization has spent to undermine our efforts to slow the influx of millions of illegal aliens, hasn't earned my support. Indeed, I make it a point to 'boycott' any business that openly advertises their affiliation with the COC at the national, state or local level. Red State shouldn't be shilling for any organization that places corporate interests above those of their workers, the consumer, or the communities they serve. Personally, unless some 'epiphany' happens among COC leadership and their committment to America's citizens, I say, throw them under the Obama bus.

The staffer I spoke with in Altmire's office said that the Congressman had been on FOX last Thursday and that the President's comments did inf act worry him, that he stands against BO's attacks.

Sounds like maybe they got their story straight in this office knowing we'd be calling?

the official response was, "No comment," then the staffer referred me to the White House. At that point, I wished Congressman Melancon good luck with his upcoming 2010 senate election against Vitter because he's going to need all the luck he can get ;-)

Jason Altmire (PA-04) Not boycotting FOX, spoke out against BO's attacks
Patrick Murphy (PA-08) will not take a stand on either side of this issue. Coward....
Tim Holden (PA-17) His office "does not have any information about how the Congressman feels about this situation" Whatever...another coward.
Christopher Carney (PA_10) Again his office claims he does not have a position on any of this.
To summarize PA is full of spineless Democratic Congressmen who wouldn't know the Constitutional side of an issue of it fell on their face and wiggled around.

said he did not know the Congressman's view on the subject but would pass along the concerns. I asked for a call back, he said the policy was to mail a response in 2-3 weeks.

...and the staffer claimed to not even be aware of the attacks. I asked that he speak with Snyder and then get back to me. I find it hard to believe he's unaware of the attacks.

and was on hold for a while, must be other Redstaters calling also. Staffer said that she had no idea how Perriello felt about Obamas attack on Fox news. She said they haven't discussed it. Asked if he supports MoveOns call to boycott Fox, and, she replied that she was sure he would not support that, because he doesn't agree with that sort of thing. I replied, Gee that's funny, as George Soros, and all of his family members were big donors to his 2008 campaign. Thank you, have a great day! He had Van Jones come to Charlottesville in June to help him celebrate the greening of some poor person's house. The greening they did- they plugged the cracks from around the windows, and installed a new tankless water heater. Cash for Cracks-Charlottesville Style.

Rep. Dennis Moore, D-KS, 202-225-2865. Moore is one of these so-called Blue Dog Democrats that has represented our district since 1999. He refused to hold any town hall meetings here over the summer.
