It seems like when Reid is losing a vote he switches his vote so he can ask to reconsider later. But here he stayed as a yes. Does that procedural trick only come into play on final votes (i.e. it doesn’t matter on cloture votes), or is it only if something is passing that he wants to fail, or is it for some other scenario altogether?

about the “health care reform” now that this offer is off the table. This was supposedly the only reason they were supporting the dems bill to begin with…….which was a huge mistake in the first place.
They need to bring doctors together to help defeat the dems health care “reform”, not support it!

I know we’ve butted heads more often than not, but when somebody does right by our nation, I acknowledge it.

Unbelievable! I live in AR, which McCain carried with over 60% and yet both D senators continue to vote like CA Lefties. Why would Feingold vote No? He’s a committed Leftist.
