Dede Scozzafava’s World Is Crashing Down Around Her. That is a Good Thing.

Chris Cillizza is now reporting what I have been hearing from multiple sources for a week now.

Dede Scozzafava is now in third place in New York’s 23rd Congressional District.

That may explain why Scozzafava, through her husband who also happens to be the head of the AFL-CIO up in that neck of the woods, called the cops to chase away reporters daring to ask inconvenient questions.

But can, as Cillizza asks, Hoffman win?

I think the answer is absolutely yes. As Scozzafava implodes her voters are going to go elsewhere. With Hoffman in second place and voters most likely backing Scozzafava because of the “R” next to her name, the voters will go to the real Republican in the race — Hoffman.

Hoffman is the strongest challenger to the Democrat and gives the only real contrast to the Democrat. Hoffman can win if we help.

November 2nd could be a glorious day...

Third Street (Diary) Tuesday, October 20th at 10:03PM EST (link)

Just imagine an evening in which we knock off Corzine, put away Deeds, and get a conservative in NY-23 and a Republican in CA-10, all at the same time.

I hope all this drool doesn’t short out my keyboard.

Scozzafava endorsed by the Dail Kos

There is a serious problem when the Republican is favored by the Kos

Even Kos admits it looks like she's lying about the Weekly Standard thing

which he finds rather bizarre from her side, because their leaking it validates conservative concerns about her.

Scozzafava crosses the line, it's time to break up and move on.

I don’t believe in splitting the vote. But there comes a time in a relationship when one party or the other realizes “it ain’t working out!” With Scozzafava it was her calling the cops on a reporter who offered no threat other than some tough questions. I would expect that from Frank, or Obama, or Pelosi, but not from a Republican. If you read my comments here and at my site, you know I understand why the Republican establishment picked her for that part of New York. But much like generals who fight the last war, the Republican establishment is missing the point here. She is not even close to what the majority of republicans believe in. In fact, she leans so far left in her opinions that the voters will likely decide they may as well vote for the democrat anyway.

At some point you just have to stop following the lemming like leadership as it runs off the cliff. Enough is enough.

The Republican leadership says the problem with Obama is he doesn’t listen to the will of the people. Here is hoping they aren’t as deaf as Obama. I hope the establishment decides to back the conservative candidate when they realize her boat has sunk. Even if we lose, we lose with honor. If they take their ball and go home in spite, it will go a long way to proving the old leadership’s time is nearing its end.

This is a war we are in, and bad leadership will get us overrun quicker than anything else.

Always do everything you ask of those you command.

The words of George S. Patton and if those who want to lead cannot or will not the you are following the wrong leaders.

What a loser

John McCain, I mean. Sure, elections have consequences. Why didn’t you see that when you ran for the nomination knowing there was a large percentage of the party that would never vote for you under any circumstances? It’s called ego and selfishness, Mr. RINO, and it’s interesting to see you passed this on to your shallow and — going from photo she put on her blog — unattractive daughter.

Consequences Redux

Castor (Diary) Wednesday, October 21st at 11:50AM EST (link)

I just sent in my donation to Doug Hoffman.
Some would say that I am going way overboard in declaring that New York 23 will have more far reaching consequences than the gubernatorial contests in Virginia and New Jersey, but consider this:
If Hoffman wins it will send a chill through RINO country. Petty county and state chairmen will think twice about infiltrating our ranks with more so-called moderates.RINOS and DIRCS may become creatures of the past. Why even the noun Scozzafava may become a verb !
DONATE NOW TO DOUG HOFFMAN!
SEND IT IN!!!!!
