  • HEY!!! LOOOOKKKKKK!!!!! We're NOT just the party of white guys.
  • Not bad. Lots of red though. Geez. Even we don't use that much. But it is definitely refreshing, although the Democrats have already pointed out that the section on "Future Leaders" is empty.
  • There is a campaign of sorts being organized by the left to block conservatives on Twitter who use the #TCOT, #IAMTHEMOB, or #RS hashtag — the latter being RedState's hashtag. It's funny. The right has become dominant on Twitter so the left is organizing to block us all from it. So much for freedom of ideas and competition.
  • Mark Levin is making professors across America squirm. This man has to be one of the hardest working people ever.
  • Impressive. Very impressive.

LOL, we're "spying" on the lefties on twitter?

OK, like they’re secretly trying to pass a health-care takeover bill? Secretly trying to wreck our own economy with a cap-and-tax bill? Secretly spending government money on leftist causes? Secretly in bed with unions? Secretly looking to steal 2010 elections by meddling with the US Commerce Department? Drooling over the prospect of being in control of more redistricting than last time?

Hey @EileenLeft. Psst! We already know all that. And oh, so much more.

in shunning Fox News. Don’t like criticism? Then shut it down. Way to respect the 1st amendment there, Eileen. Of course, when hashtags are added to a comment if the lefties are following those threads they’ll see our comments anyway, blocked or not. I wonder if Eileen realizes that?

Probably not.

One thing I really wish they would have addressed more directly is the Civil Rights & Voting Rights Acts of 1964 & 1965. They could have taken the opportunity to point out that Democrats filibustered them and Republicans overcame those filibusters. They probably just wanted to avoid naming the President who eventually signed the measures. It would be worth it though, just to see names like Al Gore Sr. & Robert K.K.K. Byrd listed as opponents of civil rights.

Senator Snow (Socialist-Maine) has said she is voting for Obamacare:

http://blogs.usatoday.com/onpolitics/2009/10/no-indication-of-sen-snowe-vote-on-health-care-yet.html

“Snowe says she will vote for the bill out of committee. She touted the bill’s “bipartisan, landmark reforms.” She said: “When history calls, history calls.”

She praised the bill for changing harmful insurance industry practices, such as rescinding policies when people get ill and basing premiums on health status or gender. She also touted the insurance exchanges as “critical” for creating a “powerful marketplace” that will drive down costs.”

Read that on my iPhone yesterday while in line at Starbucks and just had to laugh. Dayum I love that guy!!

Government cannot be the solution when government is the problem.

How about holding the Maine senators to a different standard?

If, at the end of the day, Sen Snowe wants to vote for Obama-Baucus Care, so be it.

However, make sure it’s at the END of the day!! Senator Snowe should vote against any effort to stifle debate, vote against any effort to vote on the bill before everyone’s had time to read it, and vote against any effort to pass the bill through shifty shenanigans (like making health reform an add-on to a bill limiting bonuses).

If healthcare reform isn’t going to go into effect until 2013, there’s no rush to pass a bill now.

Memo to @EileenLeft

If you don’t want those awful right-wingers “spying” on you, how about not holding your discussions in a wide-open public forum??

Everyone who posts with #tcot, #iamthemob or #rs? That’s a LOT of people. I foresee many future demands for Twitter to greatly increase the supported number of entries in a block list (whatever number that might currently be).

I fully sympathize, Mr. President. I miss you being anonymous too.
