OBAMA’S PRINTING PRESS MADNESS

October 14.2009…
“President Obama is calling on Congress to approve $250 payments to more than 50 million seniors to make up for no increase in Social Security next year. The White House put the cost at $13 billion.”

CRAWFISH NOTE: This is more democrat (aka secular socialist) fiscal insanity. America is already at least 9 trillion in debt. America is broke. We have 10% unemployment.
The socialist Party is pushing a HC Bill costing $800 billion plus. America is already at least 9 trillion in debt. America is broke. We have 10% unemployment.
The socialist Party has dozens of taxes in the works to reduce your paycheck and raise your cost of living. America is already at least 9 trillion in debt. America is broke. We have 10% unemployment.
The socialist Party will let all the Bush tax cuts expire after next year. America is already at least 9 trillion in debt. America is broke. We have 10% unemployment.
The secular socialist Party has had ALL the power for over 9 months and…and…and? America is already at least 9 trillion in debt. America is broke. We have 10% unemployment. Thanks a pant load. Not to worry, the minion media will change democrat diapers 24-7.

Unicorns and liberal rainbow dust everywhere.
Is it any wonder all early voting polls indicate the socialist Party is going down hard?
J. Carter Obama rules all!

Perhaps the difference is that I cleared cache first to do a clean reload. If you reload without clearing cache it is faster as all the photos are already in storage and don't need to be reloaded. Possibly also I visited during a peak time.

Which link did you use to register? I used the "signup" link. It behaved as I wrote. I haven't tried the become a member link at top of the page, basically I didn't even notice it given the signup link being located prominently as well as my need to scroll down to see page contents due to the space between the header menu bar and the content.

of course the RPT(Republican Party of Texas) website is slow. I have no problems with FF 3.51 on Vista 64 Ultimate. The registration worked well for me and it seems that registering doesn't kick out an email. The speed might have to do with the fact that I use a Wired and Wireless connection together. I'm not all that sure about that for sure.

The site takes over a minute to open on my 3 meg symmetrical connection, the banner is a field of red, nothing to break it such as GRAPHICS except a few faint stars and a HUGE DONATE button. The space between the banner and actual content is huge, I have to scroll down to see content that should be visible in the tab. When I tried to get the jobs page, it was inoperable. It is still inoperative 24 hours later. Why would jobs be under housekeeping anyhow? Sounds like the GOP wants all workers to be maids, butlers or janitors. NOT professional.

The favico (the little icon that represents the webpage in the address bar) looks like a little monkey! When I try to register and click on the continue button on page 2 it does not advance, just kicks me back to the main page. The header on page 2 says that it has created the membership, but unlike any reasonably well written website it does not show me as logged in when I am kicked back to the main page instead of getting redirected to the 3rd page as should happen.

I use IE 8, and it does eventually render tho yesterday it was down off and on all day. It seems to me that whoever was paid to create this has not earned their money. It is unfinished, unprofessional and of limited use. Where is the DIGG or STUMBLEUPON recommendation button? Why so much unrelieved RED? Where is the US FLAG, the CONSTITUTION, the BILL OF RIGHTS?

I am truly unimpressed with this effort. Disgusted with it might be a bit more accurate a description. Has the GOP fallen so low that the national committee can't even get a webpage to work? How much money was wasted on this half-finished debacle anyhow?

I'm a blogger here in Colorado and I know how things work. Do you think I just fell off the turnip truck? I've had people I know very well tell me flat out that Frazier is pro-choice. I've talked with him personally, and can tell you there would be no difference between his votes and those of Norton on life issues. There's a huge struggle right now between the single-issue values voters and the fiscal conservatives in this state. One side or the other is going to win out here.

Do I have concerns about Frazier? Yes, I do. I had intended to address those concerns, but now there's no reason to do so. I live in CD-4 and he's likely running for CD-7 or Lt. Gov. What I do know about him is he's a fiscal conservative and wants smaller government. That's what we need most of all right now. I also know that Jane Norton will be a big government Senator like we had in the Senate from 2000 to 2006. If that's what you're looking for, Jane's your gal.

As for me, I'll be supporting Ken Buck, a strong fiscal, social, and law-n-order conservative.

You seem to be in the minority. Sounds like people a retired of the irrational Republicans bashing already.

Someone else states that Frazier refused to say who he voted for and wouldnt criticize Obama. Is that true?

He forgot one thing in the blog. Jane Norton supported the single largest tax increase in the history of Colorado. I can't wait for all the wailing and gnashing of teeth around here if she's elected. You can count on her support for any new stimulus bill, immigration reform, and healthcare reform.

But hey, she'll be sure to vote for the next stab at a HLA or FMA, and that's all that really matters, right? I mean, it worked out so well for Marilyn Musgrave in CD-4.

and wandered around the site. Apparantly the old login I had on gop.com is gone, so I had to re-register. There is no link that I can find to the state GOP websites (one link says "states" but it links to some sub-social group which for my state has 8 members). That seems to me to be a big hole in their strategy. If they want more people involved, great, but they should be encouraging local level participation.

Donate button is nice and large though :)

On a related note, I finally found an email for a GOP committee chair in my county and contacted them (I've had phone numbers forever, but I'm lousy about picking up the phone and calling *anyone*). Hopefully this will be the start of my getting more involved....

Am I wrong or is the extent of Frazier's experience been limited to the City of Aroura. Plus, the Denver Post has stated that he is taking on Ed Perlmutter, which is good thing. Two strong candidates is better thab one mediocre candidate

Yes, Norton is popular. In the same way Charlie Crist is popular and raising money. Her main supporters right now are John Cornyn and John McCain. Cornyn tried to do it the same way he did in Florida, but the backlash was so strong he backed off. Now he's just doing the same thing but using the back door.

Obama gives them all the ammunition they need if they would only pick it from the low hanging branches.
They could also be hammering him about his hawkish stance on Afghanistan during the campaign and how now he is dropping the ball.
