Erick, and all of restate, you need to love Tim Tebow. Tim is a hero to the Christian homeschool community. I am a sports fan. My wife, no. But we sat down and watched last night's game (like many others). We prayed for Tim's recovery for past two weeks. If you have not figured it out, we homeschool here in Florida. Tim represents the homeschool community in college sports. Alabama even has a bill named after him that intends to allow homeschooled children equal access to high school sports activities, something we enjoy here in Florida. Homeschooling a difficult road. My wife is up late nights grading and planning lessons not only for our children but for others that she teaches. My kids have been all over Florida and Georgia with various competitions, including TeenPact. Homeschooling is the ultimate way to keep the Statist away from our children. Please, all of Red State, support the homeschooling community in your state whenever you can. And please support the Home School Legal Defense Association if the opportunity presents itself. Thanks for your work at Red State!

We have in this country some of the most brilliant scholars and critics of US foreign policy, in the Middle East specifically: Edward Said, Noam Chomsky, Edward Herman. They are nowhere to be found. We have critics of US-sponsored terrorism in the Middle East, who understand it. They are nowhere to be found. Crucial information is being lost.

Gee, think there’s any chance that the Republican Senators who voted for BO’s AG might be willing to take on THIS guy?

The Maker’s Mark tour is great. I do not know about the $7K tour, but the normal one is great. It feels like you will never get to the distillery, but well worth the ride. I appreciate this on Galyean’s website:

I hope this means he opposes “comprehensive immigration reform” or “path to citizenship” or other euphemisms for mass amnesty.
