White House political affairs director, Patrick Gaspard, was the

I took off work early yesterday and was prepared to do the same today.

Now, I’m going to have to work today !

Man, doing no work and getting paid; yelling at your representatives on a whim; life as a democrat ain’t 1/2 bad. Sure, there’s that threat of turning 60 and at the first sign of heart disease, the government’s Dr. death comes by with a shot or I could be sent to the poor house on carbon and medical taxes and i might die in a dirty bomb explosion; but if I don’t have to work; it might be worth it.

If the CBO were really a non-partisan accountable to the people organization they would have sent it back to the Finance committee saying they can’t accurately score a bill that doesn’t contain the legislative language.

If the GOP caves in here they are just begging for a third party to materialize in 2012 if not 2010. I changed my voting registration to no party affiliation back when they controlled congress and went on a spending spree. Just being not as bad as the Democrats just isn’t good enough.

I won’t bother calling either of my Senators since I live on Cape Cod.

Graham was ralling agnaist the Bacus bill and the CBO scoring of the bill on Cavuto. He was rightly pointing out how the CBO score is based on the bill staying as writen and being implemented as such, which he doubted would be because nobody would vote to keep the medicare cuts or the taxes on medical equipment going. If GOP Senators were really folding I think Graham would be one of the first to change sides. Though those who have fence sitting GOP senators representing them should keep the pressure on.

but switches midstream to the liberal side of the fence. I had this experience with him in a letter of reply I received after writing to him about the cap-and-tax. No he wouldn’t vote for it, the financial impact was too draconian, especially in this weak economy. Sounded good. Then he started talking about how he did think, however, that some legislation needed to be passed in the future to severely curtail carbon dioxide emmissions so he would be working faithfully with members of the opposition party to draft and pass such legislation.

I continually wonder why he has an R after his name.

I found that rep Neil’s office is working with SEIU-ACORN on a phone bank and mass mailing to promote liberal propaganda on health care. If there is one spam bot there is going to be more, they are trying to flood out our message. Yes, I know they get paid to do it thus un fair but what can we do? All this is so infuriating…

Once the pols get back into their little insulated universe that is DC they forget there are real live voters sitting back in their districts/states, and they become beholden once again to Senate/House leadership and their ~~cash cows~~ favorite lobbyists.

It’s a lot easier to put on pressure when they’re sitting in front of you in a town hall than by simply sending emails.

The only way to slap them back to their senses is to either show up on their doorstep in person or to CALL ON THE PHONE and lock up the Capitol switchboards.
