So I posted this on that site:

What separates us from the animals is our ability to make judgments – Redstate chooses to exercise that judgement. I’m sure they would applaud anyone who decided to start a rival conservative site – yet THIS is what you chose instead. A place to justify why you got banned from Redstate.

I don’t know whether to laugh or cry.

Wow. You’re pretty uneducated aren’t you? I suppose you can’t really be blamed for that though, with the education system being run by progressives the way it is. But I digress…

The First Amendment only protects you from government placing you in jail for your speech.

It doesn’t protect you from an employer firing you, a friend dis-inviting you to their house, it doesn’t protect you from being suspended at school, and it doesn’t protect you from being banned on a website.

Try educating yourself with something other than the worthless Wikipedia.

I am laughing my ass off at that link. Every one of those posters clearly deserved to be nuked and here they are whining about it. (One of them is a self-described “fire breathing liberal”.)

They apparently missed the clear statement that RedState is a site dedicated to working toward a specific, conservative objective, not a high-school debating society for moderates and liberals to come along and play with themselves.

In times like this, we really don’t have time for that crap.

I hang at RedState so I can listen and learn; not rant and troll. This person does not get it. Sometimes I may cross the line; I always apologize, and try to be a gentleman when I post.

It is easy to hang out at blogs where everyone agrees with your views. That is weak, and kind of sad…

My Lady is a flat out Socialist, but even she excepts that our country needs a strong opposition party, and this site does good work with that!

Sorry, even though I am among the banned I cannot consider then isolated idiots. The truth is that they are very well informed. I offended them on a religious issue knowing full well that RCs are not very good about being reminded about the effects of some problems with the Roman clergy. I understand their emotional position. Bringing up and discussing topics that are of interest to like-minded readers is productive…constantly waiting for the next troll attack or thread derailment/hijack
is not. There are plenty of conservative blogs these Alinskyite types can attack in the name of “free speech”, but keeping Redstate troll free is one of its major appeals. Thanks to the admins and mods for their policies in keeping it free of DNC/Move On/far left talking point posts in the name of “free speech.”

That being said, anyone who thinks being kicked from a privately funded website is a free speech issue is an idiot. The moderators have every right to kick who they want. Anyone who’s hung around here long enough knows they make a sport of it.

He should go to LGF and say something negative about Charles Johnson and see how quickly he gets banned. CJ is on a kick these past few weeks.

I will say though lately the blogs have been kind of lame. I like Hotair and Ace of Spades, but they’ve become very tame and boring as of late.
