There is an exception for companies such as DMBA, but the rest of the insurance companies are out of luck.

(B) RELIGIOUS AND MORAL EXCEPTION- Nothing in this paragraph shall be construed to require a health insurance issuer affiliated with a religious institution to provide the coverage described in subparagraph (A).

Democrats are on the verge of their own internal war over health care. The Baucus plan is a joke to most of them, so let the left butcher each other over this.

and franlly…I’m struggling right now to find a diary worth writing that doesn’t have anything to do with what I’m about to say because I don’t want to be a Johny one note…but what is one to do?

Bennett shows once again that we’re crazy if we think we can defeat the Democrats, (not only with a fifth column in our midst but), with a leadership in Washington that is actively pushing to grow the numbers of that fifth column.

Name whatever policy category and you’ll find a liberal Republican Organization connected to a group of liberal Congressmen and Senators that will cut us off at the knees at the worse possible moment whether it be Snowe and Collins who are connected with the RMSP, the Republican Majority for choice, and other liberal Republican PACS…or Mark Kirk and John McCain who are members the Green GOP, Republicans for Environmental Protection, The RIPON Society and also the RMSP, and on and on!

Sohhhh….here we are…the grass roots in this party, combined with a lot of right leaning independents others have reformed the “Leave me alone” coalition of 1994 fame and beaten the Democrats back on Health Care, we’ve almost crippled them on Crap and Tax. We’ve brought Obama’s numbers down below 50% without any help from the Republican Party who were caving in to every Democrat’s breathless cry that we were heading off a cliff unless we pass one massive spending bill after another…We finally get the Republican Party to stand firm enough to stop Obamacare in its tracks and the Democrats begin pealing off the sinking ship…

so..what happens when we’re on the battlements and we’ve stormed the gates…and the Keep is about to fall?

Bennett is a fool…and so is a party leadership that allows Bennett and all the rest of the party apparatus to sell us out over and over again…and is ready to double down in 2010 with even more fifth column liberals in our midst like Crist & Company!

Being a frustrated citizen of Utah I’ve never been able to figure out how both Bennett and Hatch (or Bobby and Orrin) have managed to stay in office soooo long.

Yesterday I did something I’ve never done before. I contributed cash to Shurtleff’s campaign. Thanks to Arc_ut, I now know of another good senate challenger (Eagar) who needs some of my cash.

It’s a great feeling to give to these folks. Now if the other good people of Utah will wake up and vote these two out. It’s time for them to come home.

I think it is time to move from just pointing out the problems with Socialism. America is in full recoil having gotten a close up look at Obama’s plans. Why not step into the vortex with an alternative vision?

As I have analyzed this issue, I am not sure that an employer based system is workable long term or really helps our overall economy. That leaves either a public or private alternative. Guess which one I prefer? Why doesn’t someone on our side come up with and promote a framework for people being responsible for their own insurance while creating a vibrant private marketplace?

I would do it but not wonky enough .
