…is this on-line poll. I note with interest that while a majority feel Wilson was out of line, a majority also say Obama isn’t telling the truth. In other words, it seems as if Wilson’s outburst is something civil people feel obligated to criticize, many of those same people believe him and do not believe Obama.

At the end of the day, this deal will likely help Wilson and hurt Obama.

but I almost didn’t. The web form wanted too much personal information – why do they need my home, work AND mobole phone numbers, or for that matter, my employer name? I left all of these blank and the form complained, requiring them to be filled in before it accepted my money. And yet, at the bottom, it claims they’re not responsible for the privacy of that information!

I compromised and gave them fake phone numbers and a company name. If they won’t accept my money because of that, too bad. But I’m not going to have my company’s switchboard forwarding political calls to me while at work – or my cell phone ringing with them. Demanding that stuff is just STUPID.

I submit my donation and I get : must have valid mobile phone and work phone. I’m retired and I don’t see why just putting down my home phone is not enough.

I currently have $56.00 in my bank account, most of my paycheck goes to student loans, a part-time job and a college degree that is worthless right now becuase no company will hire me due to a lack of experience. I could not bring myself to watch Obama’s speech because all I would do is yell liar at everything he said. As soon as I heard what happened with Joe Wilson, I immediately went to the web site and made a donation to his campaign. More people in power need to speak out and it’s unfortunate it happened the way it did, but I salute Joe Wilson for speaking up. Even though I don’t know anything about him and can’t vote for him, he got some of my money. We can’t let the left win on this one.

I just tried to go to his Congressional web site and it’s not available. I hope that means people are getting info on him. Would like to know how much has been donated since Wednesday night.

There is no way Wilson’s opponent got that much that quick without help. I would be curious to see who made the “donations.”
