http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090904/ap_on_bi_ge/us_older_americans_poverty

If you can get passed the liberal slant there is some good info in there about them counting the support for the working poor (food stamps, earned income, daycare) etc. They are correct about it making a big difference in who is considered at abject poverty levels.

One issue I have is when gov pays though the prices get exxaggerated though like what we see with daycare and pediatrician and college class prices.

is this in a 32 bit browser or the 64 bit version? Because I have the 64 bit version of IE8 up and running. I can see the Recommend this button and it works well. I get a message about recommending it afterwords but at least it works. I'll try to get a screen shot of the 64 bit IE8 in action tonight.

After a while the "Recommend" button goes away and the "Reply to This" stops working. Also get a notice that some sort of threaded response app was not installed and ocassionally I get the "Operation Aborted" message as well. Getting out of IE, restarting it and clearing my history fixes that part. The one thing I haven't figured out how to fix is that I CANNOT go from RedState to any other site on my favorites list; it just hangs up and I have to close RedState and in doing so I get a notice that the site is busy. I just keep two IE windows up.

"My sister that was in front of me woke up and told me that the girl had a gun," Eulls said. "She was pointing it back and forth at other people and the little kids that were sitting at the back. I just thought real quick and tried to grab her attention before she pointed the gun at anybody else. I wanted her to point it at me so she wouldn't point it at anybody else."

I don't think it's the site but the browser app. If you can backtrack to 7 it will likely solve many of the problems you're having because I still use 7 on my laptop.

I had to switch to 8 on the desktop for work purposes so now I'm using FF as my default here. It, too, has some slight problems but that could be my settings. I can't seem to stay logged in anywhere and haven't found just the right setting that's preventing it because cookies, etc. etc. have all been enabled, including allowing popups from this site.

Ok, here's what's happening to me.

Over the weekend on my home computer, I went to Townhall.com and was opening an article from their site and all of a sudden I get one Trojan, then I get another one almost immediately after. McAfee took care of them along with Windows Defender.

Today at work, I went to IMAO and as soon as the page loaded, I got another Trojan which was immediately taken care of by McAfee.

What do you think? Could there be lefty hackers out there planting Trojans on the rightwing websites to make our lives interesting?

Anyone else have this problem lately.

Too bad.

Here's a brief article on money I found interesting.

The curious thing about money is how something so real can at the same time be so illusory.

Enjoy.
