September will be the cruelest month for Democrats because their hope to pass Obamacare and cap-and-trade has run headlong into the opposition of their untrusting constituents.
Just as they left for their summer vacation, House Democrats were given a strategy memo by Speaker Nancy Pelosi. The strategy memo said, (as HUMAN EVENTS’ Connie Hair reported on August 3) “Winning the health reform debate in August requires nothing less than an aggressive, multi-front effort to control the message and keep the momentum moving forward.”

Kyle-MI (Diary) Monday, August 31st at 10:38AM EST (link)I am hearing and watching a lot of commercials aimed at Sen. Levin and Stabenow (both D-MI) to vote for Cap & Trade. Granted they have pressure against it because of the Auto industry in MI. On the other hand they are both liberals’ liberals. Also I have not heard any opposition from them or even that they are wavering. There are even a few statement (quoted in the commercials) that they lean for something like Cap & Trade.
If proponents of Cap & Trade are spending money securing liberals like these, what is it like in states where you have Senators who are truly on the fence?
Pelosi, once again, shows she is the smartest person person on her planet, wherever that is.

But what she will really do is cheat and lie. Which is the way they operate on her home planet, Corruptulus which orbits the sun Alpha Obama Centauri in the galaxy the Robublind nebula.
Soon she and the others will control us all, just like the HULU commercials, “Because that’s how they roll.”

The point cannot be made often enough: Modern liberalism, as embodied in the Obama presidency, is the defender of the status quo. And the status quo is a road to economic ruin. Political forces cannot redistribute the wealth that the economic system does not produce.
