Dear Sirs,

It has come to my attention that your company has chosen to withdraw advertising from the Glen Beck television show on Fox News under pressure from a group called “Color of Change”, founded by self-described communist Van Jones, who is now the so-called “green jobs” czar in the Obama administration. Mr. Beck had recently done several exposes on Mr. Jones and, like millions of Americans is critical of the direction the Obama administration is taking this country.

Mr. Beck’s recent comment about how he perceives the President’s attitude on race is sensational, to be sure, but when you consider the President’s past and current associations, 20 years as a member of a racist church, his choice for the Supreme Court, his comments about his white grandmother, his overzealous reaction to the Lawrence Gates arrest, and the constant implication from his supporters that criticism of him is “racism”, I happen to agree with Mr. Beck. The President is not the post-racial healer that he was sold as in the campaign.

Your decision to bow to the will of the President’s political hacks has caused me to re-think my long-time relationship with your company. I will be changing insurance providers as soon as possible and will advise my friends and family (and anyone else who will listen) to do the same.

ihave been on line all week with insurance companies because all my insurance 2 cars and my home expire at the ens of the month. thus far geico has come in the lowest at 50.00 for 6 months savings. state farm was second.
guess what i am agreeing to pay the higher premiums. I will not give ny money to liberal socialist companies that support adolf obama. And my family has been informed to not to purchase anything from these companies that support this radical or his ideology.

It just makes no sense as in it can’t be the real reason. IF the real reason is the Glen Beck show gets too much attention so we don’t want our ads there, the person who made that decision needs to be fired. That would be like saying “We decided not to run ads during the Super Bowl because too many people watch them.”

So either the person who made that decision is an idiot or it is a lie.

that he will not be renewing the GE contract when it expires unless they change their behavior.

I never really caught much of his show, it was no more than a 6 minute drive including traffic lights from the train station to my house, but it is amazing how much real information he could pack into those 6 minutes.

We had them for a while and they increased their rates significantly so I looked for another car insurance company. They did a bait and switch thing with us. We were supposed to get a discount for belonging to our credit union, however, that didn’t matter. We were supposed to get a discount for my husband having a 4 year college degree, they said they didn’t know anything about that discount. We have Travelers now and are happy with them and their rates are super low. Had Progressive on our motorcycles, but Harley Davidson had better rates. I don’t deal with a local agent and find my insurance on esurance.com. I demanded my credit union stop advertising for GEICO, they said no. Can’t drop the credit union because we have everything there to include our mortgage which we just refinanced.
