Just like you and many others don’t do what I do.

I do lots of other things and give advice on many things, just as many people that don’t “do” what I do have offered constructive criticism to me that I have taken in the past without me insisting that they not offer advice to me unless they “go do it.”

Like I said below, I think on balance the doc exposed Scott for what he is: arrogant and ignorant of the bill.

Scott didn’t even know if the bill was single payer or not and brought out what an a-hole he is.

free speech thing and all. And yes, don’t worry, I share most all of my prolific writings with Redstate, gratis. I love Redstate incl you brother.

Newt and others have suggested the approach I favor. If you quote the bill, then when the congressmen go ballistic, they have no fall back position to attack. Scott can truthfully argue that his questioner misrepresented the bill. That doesn’t help.

My trial law experience informs my meticulous caution, as I have won so many trials against sloppy opponents that should have won but for such mistakes as this doc.

When you make an appearance at a town hall and get yourself and a Congressman on the record about page-and-line info in the bill, send us the video.

since the bill is not a single payer system. It would be better to quote directly from the bill with the page number.

Anyways, David Scott happens to represent my parents. I’m ashamed of him moreso than usual right now. A Congressman should have more respect for his constituents.
