I can see how their play could work – rely heavily on the MSM to not just cover up their thug tactics (already happening) but also to emphatically portray union violence as being initiated by conservatives (let’s see how the carnahan video plays out in the next couple days).

The reason I think that strategy will ultimately fail is people are waking up. The MSM controls information only to the extent that people are lazy – easy enough to find facts but you do have to search for them. During the 08 election I think too many people didn’t bother to do any research, thus the MSM had a de facto control of information. That is changing now and their tactics will fail.

I never thought I would live to see a sitting POTUS and his White House encourage his cultists supporters to shut down open debate.Obama it would seem is using his shut down debate and clear the field tactics as per the Chicago political text book.

We have now arrived at a time when decent Democrats must distance themselves from this kind of thuggery or they will follow Obama into a wilderness that will keep them in opposition again for a VERY long time.
