archer52 Friday, August 7th at 9:53PM EST (link)You would think the Dems would back off, like in ’93 as they are shedding votes like hair off a dog. But they aren’t, so why?
Because unlike ’93 they believe the battle space has changed. They feel between the unions, the generational voters, and the select other special interests, they can gather enough votes to offset and revolt on election day. It is a calculated risk, made by the most secure politicians on the left. But at some point, any revolution must “pull the trigger” and attempt the take over. They may miss this time, but will learn from the experience.
Like I said before, watch Chavez for a peek into our future.
