In my mailbox a few weeks ago, I received a fundraising letter from Mike Huckabee encouraging me to give money to Chuck Grassley (R-IA).
The problem with that, of course, is Grassley has been cooperating with Democrat attempts to get a bi-partisan healthcare bill out of Congress.
If Grassley comes out in opposition, I’m cool with that. He just might. But if he lends his name to a healthcare plan, I hope Mike Huckabee will yank the endorsement and work against him.
All Republican Senators musth hold the line on healthcare reform. As is, we know for certain that should they cooperate and produce a bipartisan plan, the poor, women, and children will be hardest hit.
