Skanderbeg (Diary) Tuesday, June 23rd at 12:18PM EST (link)

Okay, sports fans. Let’s have another go at how we can blame THIS one on “global warming.”

Have at it.

Everyone knows we have ruined the environment so badly you can’t actually go outside.

They say Republicans are for the rich, Democrats are for the poor.
If they need more voters,
then they have to make more of who they are for.

We are there in the various Tea Party groups, leaderless, but not rudderless.

At least this time he's calling on reporters he knows will ask tough questions

like Major Garrett. He’s calling on them, but still doesn’t like it.

Yes, I liked the tough question about his smoking.

He didn’t even try to dodge it. Just came right out with an answer.

He's still not too keen on follow-up questions

TNJim (Diary) Tuesday, June 23rd at 1:41PM EST (link)

or when a reporter follows up on another’s question, like the ones on health scam care.

They're tough because the TOTUS can't read minds yet.

Apparently, Sanford's own Lt. Governor...

wesmorgan Tuesday, June 23rd at 4:40PM EST (link)

…wasn’t in on the plan…and he’s a fellow Republican…now bashing his own Governor for “erratic behavior” over on CNN. Sheesh.

Oops, my mistake...

wesmorgan Tuesday, June 23rd at 4:42PM EST (link)

It was the CNN guy who used the phrase “erratic behavior,” not Lt. Governor Bauer; Bauer cited “conflicting stories coming out of his office” and concerns about the chain of command.

Apparently the Gov and Lt. Gov there are long time political enemies

AKSteveB (Diary) Tuesday, June 23rd at 9:19PM EST (link)

This one does have me concerned. I like Gov. Sanford a lot, but this has the feel of something we haven’t heard the last of.

… you know something is up.

I don’t have strong feelings on him either way, but I hope he’s OK.

Argentina?! ARGENTINA?!

Tell you what, leftylurker

You don’t get to talk about this story anymore.

Lately your comments show a pattern: whipping up this story, and talking up Obama.

You don’t get to just keep doing that here. That’s not what this site is for.

So knock it off.

Career is over.

“The press is so powerful in its image-making role that it can make a criminal look like he’s the victim and make the victim look like he’s the criminal. If you aren’t careful, the newspapers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed and loving the people who are doing the oppressing.”– Malcolm X, Audubon Ballroom, December 13, 1964

And now he's digging a hole.

Flagstaff (Diary) Wednesday, June 24th at 2:37PM EST (link)

Better to step away from the mike for a few more days than to try to justify misbehavior. It doesn’t depend on what “is” means.

Rambling doesn’t help. Nor does the phrase “remarkable friendship.”
