Her birthday is August 4, and August 1 is currently the closest thing we have to an anniversary at this moment (long story). So the idea of me spending the whole day off having fun with Internet friends while she’s either at home by herself or hanging out in a hotel room by herself isn’t really a situation I want to put her into.

I’m 90% sure I can attend so…here’s my money.

I have a friend in ATL but she’s unsure if she will be in town, so I may or may not need a hotel room. I said “No room” because I didn’t want to mess up your count to reach the magic “80.” But…may eventually need one.

And, wow…that form was a heckuva lot easier than the one I’m setting up at work. Jealous.

This is a lot of work to set up and get coordinated and the rates you have got are very good, anyone that would like to check at Hyatt.com the normal rates are $135 per night and $127.20 if you have AAA. If we can get the $99 rate this is the weekly bargain, my wife is staying this weekend just south of the city and the best rate at a decent hotel is over $100 per night.
For all the work and goodies you have added this is a great deal thanks again.

Two items:

What about those of us in Atlanta that are locals and thus don’t (necessarily) need a hotel room?

Also, what about those of us with spouses that aren’t really interested in politics? Any plans for something for them while the rest of us are talking shop?

However, if we can get 80 people locked in with us this week, the hotel will then drop room rates to $99.00 a night for people who book with them before June 1, then raise it to $119.00.
