And then here (about 3/4 of the way down) they quote me about the Liberals use of ACORN and the strategy of LATE-VOTING Early- (and the new Late-) Voting trends (as I coin it – Liberal areas finding reasons/excuses to keep polls open late, holding returns to see how many of those illegal votes they need to throw in, post-election [like MN] vote manipulation, etc…), Voting Psychology (Bandwagon and other effects), MSM bias, etc…. They, of course, leave out the important details…..

My point is that what we say here at RedState is making traction, and they have to poke fun at it/us – but, again, and of course, never themselves!!!!

Keep up the good work RedStaters – people are watching and they will GET IT eventually, once they wake up and have some coffee.

HOWEVER…. We know that this had little to do with humor. Comedians sometimes push the bounds, on purpose, to make a point – and that is exactly what she did (some on our side say over-the-top things to over-emphasis a point with a touch of humor too). Sykes choose these words NOT to be funny (though, of course, how she couched them and as a Comedian placed them where she would get laughs out of knowing the audience she had) but instead was simply done to make a Political statement and used the opportunity to DISTORT the “How Obama’s FAILURES are the country’s SUCCESSES – since we have to spell it out” message. Nothing more or less! The MSM will use this as yet another opportunity to distort/spin that to the great-unwashed in America.

Of course, we are expected to have a sense of humor about ourselves – and we should indeed — The Left, however, HAS ZERO SENSE OF HUMOR if it has anything to do with them and/or their sacred-cows, and it always shows their usual lack of tolerance.

Obama had to LIE (in so, so, so, many respects) to get elected – had to placate the Code-Pink crowd. You’re being deliberately obtuse about what is being said here. Democrats were constantly ON-RECORD as wanting this COUNTRY to fail, under Bush. And THAT is what they are PRETENDING Rush said. But it isn’t, and it’s not what we’re saying.

We’re hoping against hope that American survives the disaster that is Obama — and it is FOR THAT REASON that we hope like hell he FAILS.

He was going to repeal the Bush tax cuts and so far…fail. Now he’s just going to let them expire.

He was going to close Gitmo and so far…fail. He hasn’t figured out what to do with those guys so they’re all still locked up. And he’s adding to their numbers at Bagram as well.

I’m sure there’s more failures. Just not enough to keep us from facing $2 trillion deficits, ballooning unemployment, rising fuel prices, looming inflation, etc. We just need him to fail more often lest our economy collapse.

He will not understand something we are doing and I’ll say, “No, that won’t work. You have to do it this way because…” He’ll say, “I don’t understand” so I’ll explain it again.

The next time he says, “I just don’t get it” I can see on his face that he gets it and just doesn’t want to admit that the way he was doing it was wrong. You have a list of jokes about Obama – the implication being that they are on the same level as what Wanda Sykes said, but the media people would never laugh at them, instead considering them over the line. One of the jokes is this:

This joke is (basically the same as) one you said here a few days ago on Nat’l Prayer Day (link).

So either this joke is “beyond the pale” or it isn’t. If it isn’t beyond the pale, then I don’t get what you are getting at, as it would seem that you are then saying that what Wanda Sykes said isn’t beyond the pale. If it is beyond the pale, then you are guilty of the same thing she is guilty of. So what exactly is your argument, or am I missing something?
