There’s a reason why the Senate is made up of McCains, Specters and Cochrans….

And there’s a reason why, say, John Kasich is running for OH Governor, and not OH Senator.

Reid is very beatable in 2010, but only if we run a top-tier candidate. We can’t expect to beat him with some no-name Republican state legislator. Reid’s approval numbers are in the toilet, so it should attract some better candidates. Reid also not popular with the grassroots of his own party.

Republicans have dismal numbers in the Senate mainly because of poor recruiting efforts. They’re are far more Red States than there are Blue States, so we should have an easy majority in the Senate.
