Poeple do tend to talk more about negitive experiences that positive ones. I don’t see to many poeple believing his It’s not that bad C.R.A.P given that he spent the last year and a half saying that the economey is sinking.
I’m waiting for them to come out with the stimulus bill which is nothing but Tax cuts, it might be stimulus 4 or 5.

it might not be an easy sell that everything is nice and rosy now, because 1) HE is the one who said if his sh** wasn’t passed, it would be a ‘catastrophe’; now that it DID pass, look: no jobs, no money… smells like a catastrophe – and 2) it’s just plain a lot easier to fool people into thinking things are bad when they have good jobs and lots of stuff than it is to tell them it’s all good when they are LOSING jobs and stuff.

I said this a while back when the Dems had talked down the economy for political gain, and it looked like it would in fact get them elected. The opposite is a much harder trick to pull off, and it would be fun to watch them try.

Is this why he declared that the economy may not be as bad as we thought it would be? Have to stop the approvals from dropping and the disapprovals from rising, after all…

was not just that his approval rating is going down but that his disapproval rate is going up at a higher rate. I looked on Real Clear Politics and they do an average of all the polls. On average his approval rate has gone down 2.5 % but his disapproval rate has gone up almost 10% (9.8 to be specific). All those who were polled who didn’t have an opinion at one point are now forming opinions and it’s not good for Obama.

Nothing new, just “re-imagining” of tired, old, worn-out ideas–always open strong at the box office because “it’s Disney” brand-appeal, then fall like a rock the next weeks . . .

Oh, and just like Disney, a few fat-cat insiders are taking home wheelbarrows of money while the little-guy owners are taking a beating as the stock continues to collapse . . .
