the piont I am trying to make is that Citi should look at bankruptsy before it allows the government to nationalize it. I am no economist and if they are paying there bill they should be left alone.

I ask because while BofA’s stock dropped, it still pays its bills and so shouldn’t even be a prospect for nationalization.

I think Mr. Minority Leader smells the rising tide of conservatism on his colleague from South Carolina. DeMint has been leading, and the rising tide of conservatism raises all boats.

Good for McConnell. I’m surprised, but pleasantly so.

As does all of those peoiple who over extended themselves and I’m sure that most of the poeple in the sub-prime mess would qualify for a chapter 7, although a chapter 13 would be better for most of them as it forces you to live on a budget, and it atleast makes you pay back some of the debt.
