because he had no reason to suspect the rule since he saw blacks laying the course all the time.

The fact that he is doing so well is actually a GREAT sign that RNC members are smarter than I thought given the large vote for Duncan who violated the rule that losers resign.

Because if all of Blackwell’s support goes to Steele he has 75 of the 85 votes needed, it will be human nature for anyone voting for Dawson or Anuzis who isnt anti-steele to switch to Steele so they can be the vote to put him over. Of course if the majority of the RNC is absoutely anti-Steele Dawson could also win on this ballot.

…it’s going to be Dawson or Steele. Blackwell and Anuzis are being undermined by RNC members from their home states (Anuzis’ foil, former Representative Yob, is mostly miffed over Saul’s tepid reaction toward McCain; Yob strongly supported him), so there are only two people without active antagonists in the field.

I would say that the Magic “Number” in the RNC Chairman’s election is “Barrack the Magic Negro” by Rush Limbaugh. It eliminated one candidate and gave the whole race a different dynamic.

We manage to get Duncan out, so out with the old and then get this…Blackwell’s supporters have got to switch to Steele.
