Thank you Redstate so much for posting this. Very mean people have attacked Israel and tried to say that Israel should not exist. Israel must protect itself and we must stand side by side with them and pray for them.

I wish the bill before Congress which would help divest money from 401K’s and move that money to other investments – which would take the money out of the companies that support Iran and others who wish harm to Israel and the United States of America – this would bring Iran to it’s knees and the Iranian people could overtake Iran and have new leadership which would be more friendly to the world. I wish that bill would pass. That would be real change – Congress had a chance with all their special sessions when they were printing money making us more poor – they could have passed important bills such as the one mentioned above!!!

Why is it according to the liberal press and the liberal countries around the world that when the Palestinians hurl rockets into Israel and kill truly innocent people – those liberals just ignore those actions? When Israel defends itself all of a sudden “innocent people” are being killed? Don’t get me wrong – I wish no innocent people to die – anywhere in the world. But to those who are trying to destroy Israel and God’s people may the Lord strike them down and may all of the innocent people who are God’s people may they be protected.

I thought the guy on Fox News earlier said something very powerful in response to liberal Colmes – he said so for this to be “equal force” should Israel just shoot the same amount of rockets Hamas has launched into Israel and just launch them at random targets? That would be the only way you could follow the liberals politically correct calls for “equal force”. This guy said just what I say – Israel has the right to protect Itself – may God be with Israel and may God and Israel destroy the enemies of Israel and God’s people. God bless them, they are all in my prayers.

Every time the terrorists run out of munitions or things start going badly for them, the White house has insisted they be given time to rearm, which they have done every time.

Enemies will be among us as long as breath is ours. Hamas (and/or other anti-Israel groups) will be among the Israelis as long as that nation-state exists. Sin will be among us until the Second Coming. Israel may (and should) reduce the threat to its well-being represented by Hamas, but it will never be free of that threat.

I think as conservatives we not be should supporting Israel blindly. You remember how uncritical of Bush we were while Baghdad was being looted and US soldiers stood idly by. The same weapons and ammunitions that were looted were later then used to kill thousands of the US and coalition soldiers. While I don’t have any sympathy with the peace-hating Hamas and their godfathers in Iran and Syria I don’t support hard-line Jews either. Israel has continued to build settlements in the West Bank even as it pretends to want to achieve peace with Palestinians. I think it will not be easy for the US to broker a peace settlement between Israel and Palestine until we stop supporting Israel blindly and stop borrowing money from China and give it as aid to Israel

But Israel should not also get a free pass from conservatives just because they are US’ only genuine ally in the Middle East. As their good friend the US should tell Israel to exit all the Palestinian land and debunk the excuse that the Hamas terrorists always use to fire missiles into Israel. By the way Israel is losing credible as a force to be feared in the Middle East because of these skirmishes they keep having with Hamas and Hezbolla terrorists and failing to crush the terrorists completely
