I’ve said elsewhere we should send Obama NUTS campaign, but I think that needs revision… Send the Offices of Obama, Franken, DNC, etc… ACORNS!!!!!

I just head on the local radio today Franken attorneys announced at a press conference here in MN that names and phone numbers of rejected absentee voters were given out to Franken campaign so they could be called. The attorneys were asked 4 times how many people they called and never answered the question.

I think I heard that right. Not sure if they were available to Coleman as well.

No matter what, it sounds pretty disgusting.

Sounds like a preview of the “union pressure employee free choice act” Obama promises to deliver.

Living in Texas and fairly insulated against this sort of madness, I really do relate less and less with the outlying areas of my country each passing day.

I just live here.. and not much longer if I can help it.

I am really surprised to see the number of challenged ballots that have a straight ticket except they voted for frankin. whats up with that???

Having worked as a recount oberserver in three counties here in Minnesota now, I have a pretty high level of confidence that this is not too serious of an issue. I believe all of the counties have had 2 – 3 election officials at each of the tables, in addition to the observers from each of the campaigns, so even if she had been tempted to help the Franken campaign through her position, there would have been at least 2 – 3 people at the table with her to help keep her honest.

What are the odds that we lose every close reace and state minus Missouri, which just means that McCain won Missouri by about three points.

This is sick. Take this thing to the Supreme Court if we have to. I suggest a runoff. Have anohter vote. Without Obama coat tails, Franken is dust.

Lesson learned:

1) Every vote counts
2) Voter fraud is real
3) voter fraud matters

The judge is merely the person that sorts the ballots into piles labeled Coleman, Franken or Other. The ballots marked for Franken are viewed by the Coleman volunteer. The ballots marked for Sen. Coleman are viewed by the Franken volunteer.

When a challenge is issued, that ballot is set aside until that precinct is counted. When the precinct has been counted, 2 copies of the challenged ballot are made in the presence of both campaigns’ representatives.

I said here & here that the process is pretty straightforward. It’s well structured to ensure accountability, too.

Sure, it will.

First, all judges are going to be at least facially partisan – you have to declare which of the many sides you’re on to be an election judge.

If we push for “non-partisans”, we’re really pushing for those dimwits too busy watching “Queer Eye For Voting Swapping Partners Off The Island” or some such crap on TV to pay attention to an upcoming hugely important election until the last minute. When someone says, two weeks before the election, “I just haven’t made up my mind”, they really mean “oh, there’s another election? Didn’t we just have one of those? Who’s running?”

Those are NOT the people you want making decisions about the validity of votes or voters.

Obviously, you want to watch for judges who declare their leanings dishonestly, so that you don’t try to assign a table two Dems and two Repubs, and end up with one Repub and Three Dems, of even Four Dems if they all lie, but if you do get a mix, you’re fairly safe.

I keep telling people that this is Minnasota. I am a temporary transplant to Minnasota from Virginia on a contract. I have been here for two years and the amount of corruption and stupidity from the DFL is mid boggleling.

One the people that work with me is a county DFL leader. He brags about how his district had a 125% voter participation, and no one will even challage this, and if you believe that this is just one area you would be dead wrong. The people here are wonderful but they have been beat down by the DFL propaganda over the years that they believe the stupid things that the DFL says.

The major media is a joke, the only way the republicans could get a good reference is if they died. The “Red Star” make the NY “Slimes” look moderate and truthful.

I can not wait for this contract to end so I can move to a state that still has practices honest politics.
