This isn’t isolated to a few rogue people, IMHO. This is an orchestrated effort to take this woman out.

And – btw – if she really didn’t know that Africa was a continent, or which countries signed NAFTA, that’s pretty damn embarrasing.

I have my own problems with Palin. I don’t really like her. But I also don’t like this internal visceral picking of the bones. The GOP can do better.

You are correct. Here in NJ there is a coordinated ‘mission’ happening. To rid our GOP of the RINO’s. We couldn’t get lawn signs or anything.
I am very disappointed by McCain . He had no problem defending Obama and protecting him yet he is silent on these horrible Palin attacks. I swear the NJ GOP is working for the Dems.

I agree with your sentiment because the attacks are outrageous. The only problem is we will never know who these people are with 100% certainty.

Nichole Wallace is out there praising Palin in a second attempt at CYA (the first was attacking Palin instead of owning the fact that the campaign was the worst run in history).

Of course since the campaign sucked so bad we could just apply a blanket “Leper” label to any top level person in the campaign.

Although I am living abroad now, when I get back t the US in late January, I will do whatever I can. I want to volunteer for any Congressional races, if I can be helpful. I will make sure any names that turn up in Operation Leper will be spammed on comment threads and made MUDD in politics.

Sarah needs to be kept safe. Obviously she is a threat to Republican party who fear her popularity and that her crowds will wait for her in 2012. Obviously she is a threat to Obama worshippers who will do everything to change 4 or 8 term presidency to much longer terms…just like New York. We need to make sure that she remains safe. I worry so much for her.
This radical left wing agenda that is about to descend on us will most likely keep us silent, now is the time to do all we can for both ourselves and Sarah.

Treatment for Lepers is going to include permanent exile and separation from the rest of the body. We’re not going to do any advanced, humane kind of thing here.

Try a little creativity to cut out the McCain part and add in SARAH to go with the Palin. that Sarah Palin is the future of the GOP? If she is, then the GOP will be a four state party: Utah, Wyoming, Idaho and Alaska. There is no way that this woman will ever be the nominee in 2012 or any subsequent year. If she is, the GOP will be signing on to an additional beat down by Dems, along with the ones they got in 2006 and this year.

Ignorance and stupidity should not be the two words people think of when they think GOP. She will get about 10-25 percent of the vote in each primary battle she faces in 2012 if she decides to run. Romney, maybe Huckabee is your next attempt at regaining the White House, not this idiotic woman.

Since I could not get a human being on the phone at his DC office. When I spoke to the woman in Phoenix, I told her I was one angry Republican. I told her I was furious about the character assassination campaign that was being conducted against Sarah Palin. I explained that I was a conservative Republican who planned to sit out the election until John McCain picked Sarah Palin. Instead I went door-to-door, made calls, and worked the polls (with my 10-year-old son!) in the rain on election day.

I said that it was not acceptable for Senator McCain to sit back and watch this happen. I demanded that he come out publicly and condemn this BS and put a stop to it immediately.

The woman seemed genuinely shocked at my call. She said she would pass the message on to the Senator.

Am I the only one who called? How ’bout the rest of y’all?

I’m so pissed at the idiots in our party, the Noonan/Brooks/Frum crowd and McCain himself for being such a mediocre Senator and lousy Republican candidate, I am out for blood. The only time I donated to McCain was on 8/29 when he picked Palin. I’ll never vote Dem for dogcatcher much less anything else, but if we don’t get a decent candidate like Palin or Jindal, no soup for them.

I just got McCain-Palin stickers in the mail today, 3+ weeks after I ordered them. I’m going to cut McCain’s name off and put them on our cars. One of the stickers just says SarahCuda.

As for the character assassins, do we know for a fact that the McCain campaign wasn’t behind the depraved Trig rumors in early September? Just sayin’. Funny how the McCainiacs here have melted away, isn’t it?

Yep, I’m angry. At least Rush and Mark are bashing McCain again. The past few months were pretty nauseating.

I contacted McCain, FOX CBS NBC and ABC, Jay Lenno, David Letterman, Katie Couric and next one on the list is Entertainment Tonight for that piece of junk they had on there tonight. I was angry before but that spot on Entertainment Tonight jumped up the anger point to 1000%. In case you didn’t see it , they did a segment on some XXX porn Bimbo that was supposed to be a Palin Look alike. It was absolutely disgusting and I am LIVID! The more people that complain the faster this will be resolved.

Please excuse my ignorance here. I think I’ve missed a large part of the story. If I’m not mistaken, the concerns expressed here are a reaction to a Newsweek story citing “anonymous sources” right? Instead of asking who these people are and whether anything they said is true, I’m inclined to first ask whether these people really exist and is anything that Newsweek says true. No????

It wouldn’t be the first time we saw a completely fictional piece designed to hurt some republican.

Sarah Palin may in fact be the north slope valley girl that the media and elite right make her out to be. Or she could be an intelligent woman, who might not have had experience in certain national issues, and was totally miss-handled by the incompetent f—tards that came from the Bush Administration. It was the Bush Administration that managed to destroy this party and turn control of the government over to radical leftists and socialists.

Point is, we don’t know the real Sarah Palin. That is why I’m hoping she does come to Georgia to campaign for Saxby. Freed from the moronic ex-Bush staff, she will be more herself. Then we can judge.

If Erick were serious about cleaning up the GOP, he’d make any and everyone who every worked for George W. Bush in an appointed or political capacity a leper. Cheney, Rove, Ashcroft, Ridge, Meiers, Gates, Rice, Rumsfeld, etc. While there probably were a few good apples in the barrel of elephant dung, the loss of them is greatly over weighted by making sure the real lepers never again hold political power.

All of them need to be taken out and politically shot. Their political and government careers need to be over. In fact, the best thing President Obama can do for the GOP is to begin indicting these cretins, making it impossible for them ever to work in Government again.
