This year I covered the house in spiders. I like a little scary but not too much. I have an eight foot blow up spider in the yard and six foot fuzzy spiders on the big bushes, a number of smaller spiders on smaller bushes and hanging pots and spiderwebbing everywhere. </p> <p>My kids are all young adults, three in college and one on her own. Three of the four, with boyfriends and girlfriends in tow, came to the house last night to carve pumpkins and munch on yummy mummies, steak bites with bloody mary sauce and other treats. It was fun. </p> <p>I am doing laundry, setting up for Halloween, paying bills, filling the refrigerator with easy meals and getting all the loose ends tied up before heading up to Wisconsin for the last five days of the election to help out.</p> <p>On the way out the door this morning my husband turned to me and said, "About all the spiders... Umm..." "Yes?" "What do I do with them tomorrow?" Now, I already took down my McCain/Palin signs (why tempt teenagers or fate) and I told my husband, you take down the spiders and put the political signs back out in the yard.
