I go to church with an editor at the T-D and called him yesterday and explained what was happening…..twice. The only reponse I got other than occasional crickets was ‘I’ll pass this along to our National editor’. I’m not going to hold my breath that anything will be reported or investigated.

I can’t see how they ever get their integrity back. Integrity isn’t like the stock market. Once you lose it, it’s gone. It never bounces back. I am actually repulsed to even be on one of their “news” channels for even a second lest I make their ratings go up. I don’t see them ever recovering. Thank God for the internet!

To be serious for a change, when I saw something about that article last night at the corner, it became clear that the fix is in in every possible way:
- fraudulent registration
- fraudulent voting
- fraudulent fund-raising

It has become eminently clear that the socialists see this as a win-win. If Obama wins, they get someone who will enact their agenda. If he loses, they will have created such a KnownFact that he HAD to be elected unless the GOP cheated that we’ll have people rioting and burning down cities, and a Democratic Congress that fights McCain 10x worse than they have fought Bush.

Either way, the America we knew gets weakened significantly, so the socialists view that as a positive whichever way it turns out. It makes me sick.

**I used to think of the press as one of America’s great resources for protecting its citizens. This year, I see mainstream media as puppet with Obama’s hand in the sock.

I heard that NBC was so far in the tank for Obama that someone needed to throw them a life preserver. Personally, I think SCUBA gear is more appropriate.

I can’t imagine a President, ushering in Socialism, and running unchecked by the press for 4 years. The loss of an objective press is incredibly dangerous.

I can only hope that the press and mainstream media realize their duty is to the American public. And not to any one man.
