“Obama’s a liberal leftist!” I don’t think that plays very well among independents for whom “Left” isn’t such a dirty word.
The second ad about the “chicken” button is far more effective, and if I were responsible for dumping money on media markets I’d focus exclusively on the second ad.
That said, I imagine these are focus group tested among their respective markets, so I guess I’ll shut up now.

Remember Russia invasion of Georgia: Obama hit chicken button. Remember Joe-the-Plumber: oops, no chicken button.
I look at it this way: donate now, and avoid an Obama presidency, or pay multiple times this much in higher taxes over next four years. Kinda like the old FRAM oil filter commercials. You can pay me now, or you can pay me later.
