the last two weeks have seen about 100 Obama ads in the Washington TV market which is for winning Northern Virginia.

Number of McCain/RNC ads: ZERO.

of course we are going to lose if we are not even out in the field of battle. Not sure what happened to the 200 million dollars that McCain/Palin and the RNC had a month ago- but there is no sign of it on the ground.

it should be MCCAIN making these points- or his campaign. We shouldn’t have to rely on 527s to do the job of the candidate. on the other hand, latest poll in Ohio has McCain ahead of Obama by 1 point..

This ad is true but we all know it. This isn’t news or new. There is a long list of those in congress that benefited from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. At the time they saw nothing wrong with it. It’s like trying to see past your everyday bills. If the money is coming in then you live in the day. If it suddenly stops and the bills keep coming then, we look back and forward to see what we can do and what we should have done. Now does this mess need cleaned up? Read Sarah Palin’s answer to Sean Hannity about this. She was clear about what needs cleaned up. I don’t see Barack Obama as maliscious but as an opportunist to do what ever he needs to do including rubbing elbows with the unsavory to reach his political goals. That can be scary. I do feel better with Colin Powell and Joe Biden on his side.

Fantastic ad — but who’s seeing it? I hope it’s not just preachin’ to the choir…

Now that Joe the Plumber has their attention, maybe the swing states will be more receptive to the truth this ad speaks. Please God, let’s hope so!

Obama will be blowing sunshine up a lot of backsides to get votes. Which is all the more reason to beat him over the head with his past associations, actions, and other questionable topics he would rather no one try to pin on him.

BTW, that’s a great ad. I hope it gets some air time.

Why was Barney Frank omitted from this ad? His lover presumably took over Freddie Mac and helped drive it into the ground while Congressman Frank continued to be the 4th largest recipient of campaign funds from the GSEs?

is also hitting hard here.
We could only dream that this ad would get national air time. It’s hard and to the point so I don’t see it getting any action
with the MSM…if it’s even being pushed.

Advertising in the DC market it about as useless as advertising in California. McCain/RNC/Conservative 527 money needs to be spent in battleground states like FL & OH.

If I’m not mistaken, wasn’t Palin in New Mexico today? If so, that’s maybe a good sign.

Like I said before, McCain’s staff thinks VA will be his in the end and IN as well.

Don’t most people already know this? It seems to me they just don’t care. There are so many reasons why he shouldn’t be president, and McCain has brought them all up, but none of it seems to matter. Obama could probably say he’s for teaching sex ed to kindergartners or killing babies…

I remember Democrats lamenting a few years back about losing “values voters”. This time. they nominate someone with NO values! At least John Kerry went to mass. People want to elect Obama because they think he’ll handle the economy better? By raising taxes?? None of this makes any sense.

1) Is this a TV ad? (’cause if it is and if it’s up and running I need to forward it on to my address book and tell them where to send their/our shekels before Obama ‘spreads’ them around;

and,

2) WHY HASN’T MCCAIN BEEN RUNNING THESE TYPES OF ADS FOR A COUPLE OF MONTHS NOW?!?!?! (ok…sorry for yelling there; got it out of my system now…I think)

Looks like Obama just needs Colorado and New Mexico; I can;t see how he wins. But as an undecided, I like the ad.

focus group blew out of the water. Ace has been touting it for some time now. I have no idea if it has gotten more than a quick media play.

McCain needs to fire his entire ad team and hire the people that made this.

McCain’s ads are so mind-numbingly bad and sophmoric, it makes me cringe just to watch them.

The Ayers stuff isn’t out of bounds, it just doesn’t work. Remember Sara Jane Olson? A disgusting woman. She also refused to renounce her terrorist actions.

But it’s shocking how many people (including staunch Republicans) dismissed Olson’s actions as youthful indiscretion.

This ad is substantive & hits on an extremely important issue. More, please.

After complaining about the lack of such ads for months in my RedState essays, I have found relief!

Today, here in the middle of Ohio, I just saw for the first time a McCain ad where he talks simply and directly to the camera!!!

No sideways shots or narrators whispering: just him setting out his tax agenda and talking positively about the future, along with a cute little smile at the end!
