At the same time federal courts in Ohio are ordering Ohio’s Secretary of State to verify the registrations of newly registered voters in Ohio, leftwing activists in Georgia are suing Georgia’s Secretary of State, Karen Handel, to stop her verifying records.
As Maggie Thurber notes about the Ohio situation:
The ruling from U.S. District Court Judge George C. Smith called the identification breakdown “a serious problem” and ordered Brunner to immediately comply with federal requirements to match voter registration data with the information in the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles and Social Security Administration databases. The court accused Brunner of failing to provide county election administrators with “an effective way to access and review mismatches.” She immediately appealed the ruling.
Notwithstanding federal law, the ACLU, the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund, the New York-Based Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law and Atlanta attorney Brian Spears have found a guy in Georgia to use as a plaintiff to enable wholescale voter fraud in Georgia.
The suit, filed in U.S. District Court in Atlanta, seeks to halt the state’s attempts to verify the identities and citizenship of registered voters so close to the Nov. 4 election. Attorneys for the plaintiff, Jose Morales, also want the suit to become a class action.

"Nutz"
hunter (Diary) Friday, October 10th at 1:24PM EST (link)never never never never forget this:
Leftists are all about crass, cynical destruction of democracy and the economy to take power.
Those of you who know history know what “nutz” really meant.
The pushback starts now.
These effin’ leftist anti-American fraudulent election stealing thugs have ticked me off.
They are everything and more they accuse Republicans of being.
They do not want fair- they want power
They do not want justice, they want power.
They do not want tolerance, they want us silent.
They must be stopped.

But at least in Ohio something is working out right
From the Source Article...
cmugrad Friday, October 10th at 1:43PM EST (link)“The suit comes the day after the U.S. Department of Justice said the state’s actions to verify identity and citizenship appear to violate the Voting Rights Act of 1965. The law requires states with a history of discriminatory voting practices to get approval from the federal government before making certain changes to voting and election policy.”
This lawsuit did not come out of nowhere. The US Justice Department is saying that GA is violating the law in how it is going about verifying voter identity.
Well, it took 48 years, but this
Flagstaff (Diary) Friday, October 10th at 5:11PM EST (link)particular aspect of the ’65 voting rights act is now getting to do its job–allowing unqualified people to affect the results of an election by voting illegally.
Hopefully, the federal judge will see the necessity of insuring that voting rolls are composed of legal voters ONLY.

Does the Constitution require us to be stupid in order to be "fair"?
Flagstaff (Diary) Friday, October 10th at 5:15PM EST (link)ACORN has come under legitimate suspicion of voter fraud in thirteen states. Why isn’t that enough in itself to cause other states to start their own investigations?

Need RICO investigation of ACORN
DADvocate Friday, October 10th at 6:37PM EST (link)This afternoon on WLW, the Bill Cunningham show, former Ohio Secretary of State Ken Blackwell called for a RICO investigation of ACORN. Sounds appropriate to me.
If you don’t respect and honor the one man one vote principle of our democracy, you respect nothing about our country and its form of government.
Scratch that.
