and offer a suggested motive, that I’ve seen elsewhere, that makes NBC ever-so-slightly more innocent of blatant politicking in this particular instance. (Please note the degree to which I qualified that statement )

A couple featured in the skit talked about building a business issuing subprime mortgages and then selling the pot for $24 billion dollars. The caption at the bottom of the screen said something to the effect of “Two people that should be shot.”

Well, that’s pretty funny stuff, of course. The problem was that the SNL actors were representing two actual people. Their names (Herb & Marion Sandler), even the $24 billion figure (representing their sale of Golden West to Wachovia Bank), was real.

Yes, they are mega-rich lefties tied to George Soros—whom the skit referred to as “Owner, Democratic Party.” However, the Sandler’s are royally pissed and I wouldn’t be surprised if they threatened considerable pain for NBC if they didn’t pull the skit. Given the caption suggesting they be shot, they might actually have a viable legal angle, too.

So NBC could simply be caving to powerful legal pressure here.

I believe they are in the tank. I feel the rich leftist had purchased enough media outlets in order to steer an election. I wouldn’t be surprised to find out they are the money bags behind speculation. What ever happened to great honest reporters willing to take a beating in order to get out the truth. Nowadays they just want to call themselves commentators so they can be biased.

Who are the Sandlers?

All of this video yanking and efforts to hide something that was already seen. It’s like when my daughter was about two years old… She had her own version of Peek-A-Boo, where she would cover her OWN eyes and say… “You can’t see me!”

Don’t the democrats realize that by hiding something… you only made people more interested and determined to see what it is?

In Royal Oak, Michigan, there’s a fetish store that opened many moons ago, back when Royal Oak was more affectionately refered to as Royal Joke (due to the fact that you could shoot off a canon down the main street of their business district and not hit anything).
Of course, the local churches took offense to this place and began picketing… which caused people driving through the otherwise desolated down town area to slow their cars… Eventually, they began to pull over and park… Then they began togo in the store to see what all the fuss was about. Then the first bar opened down the street to take advantage of the new flow of traffic a curious visitors. Then another opened… than another… and more stores… and a coffee shop (or two)…

Now-a-days, just try to get a retail space for under$25.00 to $28.00 per square foot.

In the end, while trying to shut down and silence someone whose views or.. (ahem)… taste in private activites differed from theirs… the local churches picketed Noir Leather and the city in which it opened into becoming one of the most successful business districts in the entire state.

Keep up the good work, democrats.

If the Bush Whitehouse demanded they pull down an SNL skit they did not like, you would hear about that, and nothing else, for months.
They are hacks, not serious sources of information.

Bit torrent isn’t for everyone, but it is a lot easier than you think. You’ll need a good client link uTorrent or Azureus, but it is real easy to set up. The torrent has a very healthy swarm of seeders right now, ready to distribute the file. Once widely distributed, it isn’t coming down.

Also, the file is small enough to fit throught most email gateways. I’m not suggesting you spam everyone in your address book with it (please, don’t do that)… but you can email it to your parents and a few close friends, probably.

I just tried to upload this to YouTube in my own account. NBC has pwned YouTube and has put up a Really Big Scary Form that you must fill out to prove you’re not in violation of copyright. I claimed fair use and was told I needed to copy/paste their “good faith” statement which was nothing more than “I admit that I am an enemy of the state.”

They edited out the text about the Sandlers needing to be shot, but haven’t changed any of the dialog as far as I can tell.

Isn’t it crazy situation that hardly one newspaper reporter, Tv reporter, NPR reporter, MSM talking head, nearly anyone in the MSM media has ever voted R? We have nearly all Dems covering politics?

They try to set the story agendas, cover for Dems, make R’s look bad etc….constantly, day in and day out.

Heck, in addition to mass group think, we even have conspiracies being exposed. Journolist, media matters etc….
